Taller Grow Bags, 7 Gallon 8 Pack

I love the shape of these. They're by far the best I've tried and I tried at least 3 other brands.

So far these are great for my tomatoes. I planted them 2 weeks ago. The tomatoes are bush determinate. They are growing at about the same rate as the few I have in the ground and all look very healthy. So far it is working better than the raised bed I tried. These are deeper than normal grow bags, so better for the tomato's tap root. They are heavy with all the dirt, so I can't move them.

This is the first time I’d used grow bags, but I’m very pleased with this particular option. I since wanted to add two extra (these are sold for a little more in sets of three) so bought a different brand and wish I hadn’t. I wanted to plant potatoes and needed to roll down the sides to start, and as the potatoes grew I could hill them and unroll the sides to make the bags taller and more full. I needed something at least 18” deep and these were the best option of the two I could find that qualified. I live in a wet environment and was concerned about them being too wet, but I was able to move the bags under cover with the handles and had no issue with handles not being strong enough. These are easier to roll, thicker have more well-reinforced handles than the replacement I tried. Pictured are my potatoes babies, then as I’ve hilled and I unrolled the bags a bit, as well as the two extra I bought that were tall enough but were too stiff and not as good IMO…

I needed temporary planters that were tall enough to nurture a couple clematises before their custom planters arrive. Easy to move with the handles.

These tall grow bags are very nice to have . They are very sturdy and I am using them to grow my tomato plants . The are nice quality grow bags.

Absolutely a 5 star product, I believe these bags will go for years. Sturdy and they look cool.

I like these a lot. I've been using 5 gallon grow bags (licensed hemp) which you can get on amazon all day very inexpensively. I noticed that the cheaper bags I was getting were only about 10" tall though, in the 5g size, which is cramping my taproot on a good grow. The cheaper 7g bags were about 12" deep (that's about my sweet spot), but I'm using really good dirt and it gets expensive. This is the best of both worlds, over a foot tall for a good taproot, still plenty wide around. Good sturdy bag, what little extra you'll pay for these high quality tall bags you will more than make up for in dirt savings.
