Makes a purple mark. Marks can be easily removed with a damp cloth. Used properly the Adger Water Erasable Pen is the safest most convenient marker available on the market today. Instructions: Always test the marker on a spare swatch of your fabric before using making sure marks remove to your satisfaction. On rare occasions certain dyes in material (dyes containing red in particular) may make marks difficult to remove. 1. Mark lightly on wrong side of fabric. 2. To remove markings rub gently with a well moistened cloth. 3. Occasionally the mark will reappear when the fabric dries. Simply repeat the process.

Poor quality tip & vanishing ink
Tip does not maintain its firmness. Within a few strokes it becomes soft & squishy giving a wider, less defined line. Also found the ink would vanish on its own after a week or so.

Pens not as described. Air not water erasable
I thought I was buying water erasable (as stated on the product listing) not air erasable (which is what arrived). Air erasable is just not long-lasting enough for eg quilt marking. Not happy as I now have to purchase the water erasable ones as i originally wanted.Avoid.

Purple pen
Gr8 pen especially as you get 1 free came fast too. This pen does what is meant too its not too deep in colour that you have to wash the item to remove the lines you draw as you don't so perfect
