BOGS Unisex-Child Classic High Waterproof Insulated Rain Boot

I've never been disappointed in bogs. We do a lot outside activities in the spring, fall, and winter. This makes it important to us to ensure their warmth and comfort. It hurts buying 3 pairs each year- but I typically make a lot of moms happy reseling them for next to nothing the following season (when my kids out grow them.)

These boots are of excellent quality. My only fear is that my growth spurt son will outgrow them before spring frog/creek season.

I have been buying bogs for my kids for 3 years now and although they usually wear through them in a year so I can't hand them down these pairs may not make it a year which I find crazy. I admit my boys are hard on shoes but we have had these less than a month and both pairs have lost all the pattern on the rubber part of the boot. This didn't happen the last few years so what is going on with that. They are the only boot for a Montana Kid in the winter but they better last the season without any structural problems or I will be raising hell. I think they should last more than a year but these days I guess you take what you can get. I would recommend this product to anyone with kids and serious winters. My boys love them and won't take them off so they must be comfortable. But I'm cautious to buy some for myself because I need a boot that can last longer than a year. The color wearing off is not just a problem with this pattern the others I bought were the black, gray, and white camo. Your kids will not have cold feet in these boots ever even if they are wet. They will take at least a day to dry fully if they get soaked inside we fish a lot so we might be the only ones who get a boot full of water in the winter but that is the story.

I ended up returning these boots. I had an older pair (same size) that had worn out, but these were just a little too short-my big toe bumped into the front of the toe box. Next size up would have been too big. I wear 7-7.5 in women's shoes, and have bought youth size 5 in the past that fit.

Perfect for my son! We tend to a lot of chores on the farm so a solid, waterproof/muck proof boot (that rinse off nice enough that he can wear to school on rainy days!) is essential! We normally buy mucks but they didn’t have my sons size when he needed new ones! So I took the chance and I’m so glad I did! These have exceeded our expectations and we will be buying more!

I live in the northwest just off the ocean and am in and out of the water frequently, getting into boats, working around my pier and keeping a small tidal cove free of debris and garbage. These boots keep my feet dry and even when I step in deeper water pass the rubber I never get “a soaker”. They keep my feet warm here in the NW and I use them year round. I am rarely seen without my bogs on!
