Tales from the Vedas and Upanishads

I've been trying to find books to teach my kids about our beautiful Hindu culture, but in a way that will keep her engaged and interested. I started her off with, "My Blue Prabhu" by Tara Brigelal-Maharaj. The illustrations were beautiful and the stories were awesome because it also included a contemplation section at the end of each chapter.I desperately seeked other books to keep her going. I ordered this book and was surprised that she took it to school with her to read during her independent reading time!! She didn't even wait for me to ask to read it or start it with her. Beautifully written with a modern feel, and an address to "young readers" which she found endearing.Thank you for this wonderful book!!

An excellent book for kids and as well as for all the elder ones in the family. The way Heartfulness spiritual leader Daaji narrated the stories in this book was awesome. I highly recommend this book to each and every family.

Amazing stories for kids.. my son love to read this book..

This book has been a great way to impart ancient stories filled with so much value and depth. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s a kids book. It has great take always for adults too. I will likely reread these stories as different parts will resonate each time we read it.

This is a really valuable book with stories that kids can learn great lessons from. The simple and plain explanations after each story make the lessons so easy to understand, with references to movies like Marvel's "Endgame", quotes from Bruce Lee, and many other really good explanations. Definitely worth it, and will pay off well for our children.

Colours and graphics keep the children interested while the stories also offer thought provoking summaries at the end of each story on a separate page. Loved the book. Worth gifting every child
