Not a lot to say
I ordered this came in record time it’s a superb laptop only problem is I presumed it would come with CD/DVD but no it doesn’t have one also the most annoying thing is that it keeps sticking whenever you use it more than ten minutes it then decides to update so you cannot use it for at least i min so it’s not even any use as a gamer don’t waste your money

IT IS SO SLOW
I WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS LAPTOP. IT WAS DURING THE PANDEMIC, MY OLD LAPTOP GAVE UP AND THIS W SHOWS ANY SIGN OF LIFEAS THE ONLY ONE I COULD AFFORD AT THE TIME. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE REVIEWS, IT IS SO SLOW IT'S UNBELIVEABLE. START IT UP AND THEN SIT AND WAIT, IT COULD BE 15 MINUTES OR UPTO AN HOUR BEFORE IT SHOWS ANY SIGN OF LIFE. THEN WHEN YOU TRY TO DO SOMETHING ELSE YOU HAVE TO SIT AND WAIT AGAIN. IT SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET !!!!

Give the laptop a chance to update
There are so many negative reviews about this laptop on here but I decided to buy it anyway. Initially I was very disappointed and a little annoyed at myself because I didn't take notice of the reviews. I was going to return it but spoke with Asus technical support to find out why they would sell such an inferior product but was informed that the reason for the sluggush performance when the laptop is first turned on is because microsoft are sending updates in the background. I have now had the laptop for a day and am absolutely delighted with the performance and speed. This is a great value laptop for the price. No other laptop of a similar price has 1TB memory and 8GB Ram. So glad I was not too hasty in sending this back. Definitely value for money.

Laptop ok so far
This is the first laptop I have since my base unit packed in . So still finding it to see what it does , the bigger screen is better.but I notice that the screen goes brighter when it’s plugged in , but it’s not run out of charge yet . Still finding my way around it so early days ,and find the instalment option interest free more convenient .

Slow Slow Slow Slow Slow
I've had this 11 months, and OMG it's slow. I can start it, go and make a cup of tea, and it's still not loaded. Start a program, go and make anther cup of tea. Awful. Ask it to do 3 things at once and I can make the tea and drink it before it sorts itself out. One big mistake was telling it to maximise battery life by restricting the full charge to 60% - it's dead inside 2 hours and THERE IS NO WAY TO GET 100% OF THE BATTERY BACK AGAIN! Believe me, I've looked, and tried. Open a play script for a read-through, and the scrolling doesn't even keep up with the readers! Terrible thing. I'm going sell it and buy something faster. Fortunately I'm a two finger typist so I've been able to type this without going crazy. My advice is to buy something else unless you enjoy waiting. A lot...

Had to do a lot of work to update to windows 11. Otherwise the laptop works fine.
Got this at a good price around £200. The screen quality is average, and battery life is good, around 5hrs on a single charge.

Ports
The only thing which I would have liked this to have is a "live USB port", which would keep on even when laptop is shutdown as my previous one had oneThe lack of disc drive is not worth worrying about
