Not a Coast Guard Approved Life Vest but it is a great flotation vest.
Not a Coast Guard Approved Life Vest. To be legal in a boat and avoid a citation one will need to also have a Coast Guard Approved PDF life vest available or wear an inflatable Class V. This flotation vest provides me almost the same flotation as a Class III but it is much more comfortable. I have worn it for 8 hrs in the water and forgot that I have it on. Getting it off with aid can be difficult but I found by dropping a nylon strap down my back I can use it to pull the vest off with ease. I would recommend this for anyone who isn't a floater.

Goes on like a condom!
Very nice jacket. I use it for my wave runner. It's lightweight. It's a pullover and fits like a glove so it can be hard to get on and off. I'm 6'1", 200 lbs. sport fit body and I bought the XL.
