Punch what you want on any metal!Me I use it as theft device!! I punch my things ( trailers welder bike hitch tool...)at some places so I can identify my stuff if ever stolen!! Or mysteriously appears on neighbour car!!!Truly happen with adjustable trailer hitch ball that I was searching!! And found it on neighbour car!!??Look it’s mine because under that at this place my name and birth date are punch!!

Used these to record words in stainless steel. Worked awesome!I used a sharpee to mark the top of each one so I knew which way was upright without having to check it every single time. Would be great if they had a "this way up" mark on the sides, but was an easy fix.No blunting of any lettering edges that I noticed.

These seem to be really well made. I bought them to stamp my golf wedges and it works great. Somebody commented on these that the set does not come with a 9. Flip your 6 180 degrees and you will see that it becomes a 9. 69 😂

I got the 1/4" nominal size. Some letters are a little taller, some a little shorter. They all fit into an 8.4mm circle so an "I" is a little taller than wide letter like a "B" or an "E"- no big deal for me but it might be important for some applications. These are well made- much better than the low price might suggest. The letters are very well formed and have no visible machining marks. I would buy again.

they give a clean imprint of the letter, would have been 5 stars if they didn't cheap out a bit and give you a 6 that also serves as a 9, I realize they're the exact same thing but it's the principal!
