Great gift for children!
I always buy these Kinder eggs for my 8 year old brother and he absolutely loves them. He watches the youtube channels that unbox things for kids and he is obsessed with Kinder eggs being unboxed. They were for Easter, he insisted of these instead of egg hunting in the yard, and we assumed they would arrive late due to us ordering them late. However we were gladly surprised to recieve them a week before Easter. All eggs were not broken, however I will say that having ordering these a lot that sometimes they get cracked or broken, but my brother never seems to care so its not an issue for us. They taste amazing ever single time so far. Other reviews have said otherwise but I've ordered over 5 times and have yet to taste a bad set. The toys are small and somewhat lackluster so I wouldn't buy these because of the quality of the toys. On the other hand the main reason why I buy these is because my brother loves opening the chocolate and knows it comes with a toy, so depending on the person or child you are buying for would determine if the price is worth it. Overall I'd recommend this as a great present for children because it's different and more unique than just giving them chocolate. Don't worry about the toys in the chocolate, once you open up the egg it is divided into 2 half shells. One of the half shells is yummy chocolate and the other one is a package with toys in it. Each shell has a wrap over it so its safe for a children under constant supervision to open up by themselves.

Love 'em or Hate 'em
Looks like the reviews on this product are all over the place...either love 'em or hate 'em. So here is the deal. This product is based on the German sold "Kinder Überraschung". (See picture below. The toy came in the yellow plastic container.) During our Army assignment in Germany during the 1980's and 90's we bought hundreds of these. The toy inside became a huge collector craze. We still have 400+ in boxes somewhere. Ferrero Rocher tried to import these into the U.S. some years ago, but were stopped because the toys inside were too small for children under 3 years and an issue of a food product being in close proximity to plastics. So, the company came up with this idea.As for the two main issues people are having with this...the taste of the chocolate and the toy. I never really liked the chocolate, but my kids did. For me it was too sweet, but they loved it. I bought three sets, for girls and boys, one for each of my kids who are now in their mid-twenties. The package was a plain plastic container, but all eggs came intact. They report that the chocolate tastes exactly like what they remember it tasting like in Germany. As for the toy. Basically it's the same concept as the original ones. The quality of toys today are not as good a quality as the ones 30 years ago, but then, what is anymore. Bottom line, if you are familiar with the originals you will love these. If you aren't, it's a 50-50 proposition. Enjoy.

Kids love them!
My kids love watching the YouTube videos and since we can't buy the actual surprise eggs in America, this is what I got instead. Shipping was quick (2 days with prime). The eggs came packaged in a regular box inside of an Amazon box, which to me is no big deal. They weren't smushed or anything. My kids were beyond stoked about getting these! Even though they aren't exactly like the video they were happy anyway. My 3 year old had a hard time opening it but that's to be expected. The toy is cheap, yea, but since my kids love the 50 cents machine at the supermarket, they were alright with the little cars. And the chocolate? I was quite surprised at how good it is. It was really good. The little spoon thing is clever too. Definitely buying more for easter as this was just a test run to see how they would like the eggs. Im not sure if kinder and Ferrer rocchaer (however it's spelled) are the same company, but that's what the chocolate tastes like it even has like the outside she'll of the Fr in the center of the chocolate half, if anyone wanted a comparison.Updating to say that I found out Ferrer rocchaer (still can't spell it lol) is the patent company of kinder.

These are not Kinder Eggs! Not even an egg shape at all! False advertising, very disappointing, and no refund/returns :(
My daughter asked Santa for more Kinder Eggs for her and her two sisters after receiving one from her preschool. Not only were they hard to find, they were also expensive! But to make a kid’s wish come true for Christmas, I bought the 6-pack so each of our three daughters could have one in their stockings and one in their Easter baskets. I was so happy to have found some to arrive in time for the holidays. Our youngest opened hers first and cried that there was no egg inside?! You are supposed to get a chocolate egg that you eat away/break open to find a little surprise inside. This one was a cheap toy on one side (we weren’t expecting a fancy toy, but the fun is that it’s encased in chocolate, which this one was not) and a disgusting goo on the other with two spheres of something supposed to be edible? We talked her into trying it and she spit it out, then we all tried a little and agreed that it was nothing like the delicious kinder egg she brought home from preschool (that she had shared with us). No one would eat it! And you can’t even pick it up to eat it like you can with the egg, this literally was goo stuck to plastic that needed to be scraped up with a spoon, we are so disappointed! I tried to return/replace (because only one was opened and the others will not be) but there is no return policy? I’m still looking for a way to reach the seller, because this is NOT what we ordered. I usually trust Amazon Prime to have authentic products (or at least the reassurance to be able to return/refund if something is not right), but apparently not everything is protected. I’m not one to leave a negative review, but with our little Christmas (and little Christmas budget) it was something we were really looking forward to... it was kind of like Santa gave our girls coal in their stockings even though they have been so good.
