Roylco Leaf Rubbing Plates

Roylco R5815 Leaf Rubbing Plates worked perfectly. We attached them to the table with masking tape and kids came by and rubbed the leaves all over their pages in varying colors. The art turned out beautifully! Perfect for an easy fall project.

This is great! The plastic has sharpe edges in some, so precaution for users. :)

I was trying to create the makings for leaf art for our granddaughter's class at school. My natural leaves failed on us, so I found these artificial leaf rubbing plates. They are reusable, don't require chemical treatment, and can be used for rubbings or pressing with artist paper. These are also available in flower designs. I purchased 2 sets so the students could each pick one or two to work with by themselves. The teacher was very happy to receive these and that makes all of us in our household also very happy.

An affordable price allowed me to purchase two packs so each student could use one in art class. The plates are great, not too thin of plastic, I'm sure they will last for years.Some students were confused as to which side to rub on. I decided to put a sticker on the side that should be up and told the students, "You should be able to see your sticker.". This corrected the problem quickly. I'm sure older children could figure this out on their own, but Kinder and 1st needed the help.Be sure to check dimensions, leaves are roughly the size of the palm of an adult female hand.

My grandkids haven't tried them yet, so I can't speak to how well they work. Other than the fact that these plate are all clear (no red, yellow and blue as shown in the picture), they seem fine.

My son has used these for art and scout projects. I bought these rubbing plates along with 3 others (4- for-3 promotion). The plates were lighter and more flexible than I expected but worked great with crayons, color pencils and embossing stylus. They are great for my first graders and cub scouts.

I saw these at a festival in Beaver Bend in Oklahoma and just had to have them. They had them mounted on foam board for easier use which was a great idea. These are wonderful to use with any age but especially for younger children when using real leaves is difficult.

I was very happy to have found leaf rubbing plates through Amazon and thought they would be perfect for the classroom to accompany one of our artists' studies. Sadly what I received was not the item pictured but a set of leaf rubbing plates made of a flimsy clear plastic like that used for candy molds. I returned them. I would love to order the item in the photo here if it is ever available.
