Delicious and Ready After Cooking For 30 Minutes
I was delighted with this dahl. The flavor was super good. We made Punjabi Black Dahl and it was delicious! These are not instant/precooked, they require about 30+ mins on the stovetop.

Terrible plastic taste
I really wanted to like these, but after pretty much ruining two consecutive dishes I've decided I'll need to throw these out. I don't think there's anything wrong with the lentils, but even with thorough rinsing and soaking they retain a plastic taste that I assume comes from the container. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I'm not willing to spend more money to find out :(

Packaging was done well, attractive label, for me after my first serving my stomach was very upset and I stopped eating them after 3 days!
