Review of the S340 elite and new H500i
I've probably purchased at least 8 S340 Elite cases over the years, and it's still one of my favorite mid tower cases. It looks great, it's clean, easy to work with with nice cable management, and is made of good quality parts. I've recommended these to so many friends and everyone has been happy with them. I'm not going to go into all the features here, because they are posted above, but if you are looking for a nice quality tempered glass case with a nice color scheme at a reasonable price, the S340 is my choice. There are a variety of cooling and fan mounting options and it's fairly quiet overall. If you need extreme cooling, this might not be the best case for you, but for the average gaming PC, it's just about perfect.EDIT - October 2018:I also wanted to review the H500i case so here is my review below (Amazon won't let me do a separate review for this case because they are related)I have always been a huge fan of NZXT cases, especially the S340 Elite, which I've bought many times and recommended to dozens of PC builders starting out because it's so easy to work with and such a nice clean and simple design. This H500i case is my new favorite, and is even better than the S340 Elite in my opinion. It has some differences in how it's designed but also some big improvements. Things like fan control, built in LED lighting, noise reduction, and vertical GPU mount are really nice features from such a seemingly basic case. The front part is no longer removable, now it's all one piece as part of the case and super clean looking. There is still a top mounted fan, power switch and USB ports, as well as a headphone out, microphone in, and reset button. One great feature is the way the tempered glass panel is held on by just one thumbscrew on the back instead of 4 on the glass panel so there are no holes cut in the glass and there is a black border on the sides and top. There is room for a 240mm tall radiator on the front and and air intake (or exhaust) on the front of the back panel with a filter screen. The rest of the case is fairly standard NZXT and everything is laid out nicely and allows even a beginner to make a nice clean PC build. There are 2 plastic SSD trays that just snap into place in the holes that divide the motherboard and power supply sections, which is very cool. If you don't use SSD's just remove them for a clean look. In my build I just used one M.2 drive and a 3.5" in the back, so I didn't use those trays. In the back there is room for three 3.5" drives, and of course you can fit 2.5" drives there as well. The cable management on the back is better than it's ever been and includes plastic channels with velcro straps to hold down your power supply wires. I'm always impressed by how NZXT manages to make things look so simple but well engineered. They really are fantastic and all their cases are great. One big feature of the H500i is the RGB and fan control, which works with the free CAM software. Everyone company has its own monitoring software but I do like CAM in general and use it on all my Windows computers. The fans and lighting can be easily controlled with the software. The control hub is all pre wired and just needs to be connected to the motherboard and to power. There are 3 fan outputs but the third one which isn't hooked up out of the box has 3 fan connectors so you can control 5 fans, with 3 separate speeds. You can get splitters to control more fans if you want, but this case can only physically hold 4 fans unless you were to use 4 for your radiator in a push/pull configuration.I can't say enough good things about this case. It's basic but also full featured at the same time. I have had great luck with Corsair and Phanteks cases as well, but something about NZXT always seems to give me the cleanest looking PC's when I'm done with the build. If you haven't built a PC before and are looking for an easy to work with, full featured case for a basic gaming rig, this is a great option. The white is my favorite color but it also comes in a few other colors as well.

Great Case- Beginners or Pros Alike
Wanting a blue case (or, really, anything but that "gamer" red and black), I initially purchased a Deepcool Tesseract SW case on another site for $40. However, despite the case having nice reviews, I was incredibly disappointed. The metal was flimsy, the case fans coated in jagged plastic edges. Needless to say, it went back, and my search for a case continued. I stumbled upon the NZXT S340 Elite, and despite it being double the cost of my initial case, I decided to go for it, and I am glad I did! This was my first ever PC build, and I had an experienced friend to help me. We were both very impressed with the case quality, the dust filters, and how easy it was for cable management. The metal is solid, the case looks great, the included headset holder is a great bonus, it comes in a few different colors, I don't know what else anyone could want! It's a great quality for the price, and would hold up at an even higher price point, in my opinion. After using the case for a while, I have a few key thoughts:4 USB ports on the front make for a HUGE plus. I'm super glad to have them, versus the more common 2!The included case fans do a great job. Fairly quiet, keep my PC cool even with the stock CPU heat sink/cooler.I recently added two more fans to the front, which was a nice and easy process! I didn't really need more fans, but hey, why not?Great airflow, plenty of space, doesn't look cluttered inside, even for a first build! The ONLY negative I have is that, when in sleep mode, the power button light flashes. I sleep in the room with my PC, so this is pretty annoying to me! And even if you put something over the top of the button, the light flashes out the glass side panel a little. Super minor grievance, though.Overall, I'd highly recommend this case, as it is of great quality, and is super easy to build in, even for a beginner!

Great looking, everyone should consider this case!
Amazing case, by far one of the best on the market under $100.Pros: -Good price, amazing looks, easy to build in, high quality construction, useful magnetic headset puck is a nice addition, good cable management.Cons: -lack of top radiator support, screws are a bit confusing as there's many types, no reset button.

I love this case despite its few flaws
I have built many computers in the last couple of decades, and this has been possibly *the* most enjoyable case I have done a build in.While it is smaller than I had expected, especially comparing it to the Fractal R4 I was moving my computer from, that isn't a minus. Everything fit into the case very well including two GTX 970 Windforce cards, and cable management was an absolute joy. Channels and clips for cables make it very easy, and the power supply shroud is great for hiding your extra cables if your power supply isn't modular. I did have to remove one of the cable clips which blocked my front USB 3.0 header, but that was minor as well, since the only cable that ran up the main guide was the 24-pin ATX power.I wouldn't recommend this case if you are doing SLI with more than one SSD, unless you will be watercooling your GPUs. There is very little space between the SSD mounts and GPU fans.In all, this is by far the most gorgeous case I have built in. It's not as quiet as a Fractal R4, but I was prepared for that in advance.Great aesthetics and price. No regrets!

Nice case but has design flaws
For the most part I like this case, its a great size and looks good.It has a rather large flaw though, hard drive mounting wasn't thought out well.Starting with the small nitpick, if the 3.5 drive bay was moved back a bit there would be room for a 92mm fan. The dust filter already covers that area but there is only 9mm between it an the drive cage.On to the big issue with the 3.5" drives, to securely mount them you need to remove your PSU, using a drive tray system would have solved this.If you have two 3.5" drives you may be unable to use the front 2.5" drive tray as the wiring routes through the 3.5" drive cage. (another reason it should have been back a bit further.)The other two 2.5" drive locations have issues if you have an ATX motherboard. Both can interfere with a card in the bottom expansion slot (back one just collides with capacitors on my sound card), they also can interfere with the USB 3 header (low profile extension may solve this)If the motherboard was moved just a quarter inch up there would be enough clearance to rid these problems.

Great looking mid range case!
Solid case. Can't see any defects. Cable management is a dream with a lot of room behind the mobo and raised channels to hide cables. The only thing I don't like is that the glass panel doesn't sit right up against the case the seal it. Other than that, totally worth it.

Great case. Very easy to work with
Great case. Very easy to work with. Lots of air flow. Also hadn't expected to use the magnet headphone pucks, but they have turned out to be very useful.

Looks cool but runs HOT!
Pros; Glass is nice adds a clean look. SSD bays slide out easy. Hides cables well with nice built in channels in the back.Cons; Honeycomb over fan holes makes for poor air flow. No back slot covers only pop outs. No disk drive. SSD bays are sloppy. If I wasnt gaming Id love this case but to be running @ 80C with a watercooled 8700k is sad.
