I am super impressed with this mix! I love the simple, clean ingredients, especially because every royal icing is full of crap in stores. Super easy to customize colors- for anyone looking to do natural coloring, here’s what I did! Blueberry juice (microwave frozen blueberries with a little water, mash, strain) for purple (add a teeny bit of baking soda to the blueberry juice for blue or a bit of lemon juice for pink), rose and beet powders and tart cherry juice for pink and red, matcha powder for green, cocoa powder and vanilla for brown, orange juice and a tiny sprinkle of turmeric for yellow, and a single drop of the blue (made from the blueberries) to brighten the white. The icing hardens up really nicely and is a great texture for eating and looking. The mix alone with water tastes nice too! I used milk in my white icing and it turned out well.

I have tried other ways to make royal icing. But, this is by far the best!!!!! Tastes great too if you follow the suggestion to add Karo syrup to it! So many compliments on my cookies!!

This royal icing is very good quality, good ingredients. The texture is great and is easy to mix up. I think it is too expensive though. I am going to try other brands but this one seems to have the best ingredients.

I wish I could afford to buy a motherload of this stuff. I have always struggled with making royal icing. I end up making sugar cookies and then leaving them blank because of royal icing dread. Now I don't have to worry. This stuff is super easy to use and reliable. I didn't even measure and was able to go by texture for each different color with consistency across the board. I'm not great at decorating but these turned out better than any I've ever done before with a fraction of the mess. I don't think I'll ever make royal icing myself again.

Great for making smaller batches, but I used a whole 2.5 lb bag and didn’t even finish decorating 100 cookies. It tastes good and mixes well. I find I need much more water than is listed, but that’s not a big deal. Overall, great for beginners or if you don’t do a ton of decorating.

Great for cookie glazing (tie dye look) also quality work for detailed decoration. A must have in my kitchen!
