XRS551-E3 Sound bar Remote Replacement for Vizio Sound Bar System and Vizio Home Theaters

I live in Puerto Rico and the salt air/humidity got into the battery area and ruined the original remote. Bought this replacement, threw some batteries into it and back in business! Still has the very faint text screen which you can’t see anything in the dark, but I already was aware of that so no surprise there. No need to reconnect anything with soundbar, would definitely recommend.

So I got a puppy a few months ago and he decided he liked the taste of my remote sooooo I had to get a replacement. I got the soundbar so long ago I didn't even think the remotes were still around, come to my surprise when I found this I was very happy!

My puppies had chewed up the original remote and I was unable to adjust settings on the sound bar/subwoofer. Looked on Amazon and BAM, there it is. Ordered it, two days later it arrived. No programming needed, it just works. Adjusted my settings on everything and all is well in my universe again!

Very dim display, same as old unit, now I have two units that are terrible to see what you're doing. functions fine, but I have to use a flashlight on the display to see what it i doing.

Works perfect. Funny thing is mine original one worked just my son put dead batteries in it. So now I have two.
