Streetwise Paris Metro Map - Laminated Paris Subway RER Map for Travel - Pocket Size Map – May 1, 2014

After having used our original copy of this exact map to the point where it needed replacing, I found that Amazon had an outstanding price for it and snatched it up! The various maps of Paris, London and separately each city's transit - Metro in Paris and the Tube in London - were helpful in many areas where newer construction had changed certain locations. The design of the maps are made to fold into much smaller sized units that can be placed in a safe location as you are walking or riding. They are plastic so they're water-proof, most dirt or markings can be wiped off easily and as mentioned they are both updated to current date's adjustments and fold for easy use (and easy to hide so as not to appear to be a tourist!) you will not regret buying any of this company's maps for any location, separate transit specific maps and any of thier other products. (They're also good to use as a momento of any trip! - I use mine for a book mark and love the memories attached to it!)

The best map to have while in Paris, this made navigating the metro system and the city in general very easy. All of the major tourist landmarks are listed so it is easy to find the closest stop.Durable material, I probably took this in and out of my pocket and unfolded 10 times a day for a week and there was no significant wear on the folds or corners. The size is great it easily fit in my pants pocket without feeling like it took up unnecessary space.

Gives you an good idea of how it works and where to go. i recommend to buy a 10 tickets pakage for 14.40 euros in the airpord CDG when you arrive there is a tourism booth after the escalator. I recommend lso to buy the 3,4,5,6 days Museum pass there too. In the crouded areas I felt safe, just be aware that the could be pickpockets around. Always proteck you passport and you money and cards, never in the back pockets.

Map takes a while to get used to flipping to one side or the other depending on which side of Paris you are looking for . The very handy feature is that the actual Metro lines are shown on the same map as the street names. Most Metro maps show the Metro lines & stops but then you need to consult another map to see which stop is near the street you want. Since the map is plastic, you never need to worry about spilling your cafe au lait on it!

I also bought the streetwise Paris map which has the same information only slightly larger print. I think the metro index would be good for a man to carry in his wallet or a woman to carry in her pocket because it folds into three parts to become just a little larger than a driver's license, but the Streetwise Paris map is better if you have a purse because it gives much more information. They are both laminated which is helpful.

I'm 37 and don't use reading glasses, and I had no trouble reading this map. I can see where others would, though, so I wouldn't recommend it to people who have trouble reading small print. It is not as small as some people said, though. The map does not fold up to the size of any credit card I've ever had. It's more like a trifold wallet.By the way, if it's your first time on the Paris Metro, be sure to figure out the difference between the Metro lines and the RER lines! They don't work quite the same and it took us a couple mistakes before finally getting the hang of it.

Not sure what I was expecting, apparently I didn't read the description very well. This is a pocket map! As far as quality it appears to be ok but I don't need a pocket map of Paris so I can't attest to the quality once folded and in use.

This Streetwise metro map is just what the doctor ordered for seeing Paris smartly -- via the Paris Metro. I have purchased Streetwise maps of the cities of Paris and Rome for a coming trip, and this is a great companion. It's well worth the purchase price for its durability and ease of reading alone.

Ich habe mir diesen Metroplan bestellt, um in Paris als Tourist einen kleinen Plan für die Handtasche zu haben.Von der Handhabung ist er ideal allerdings ist alles sehr klein geschrieben und er ist etwas unübersichtlich.

Kam mit der Map sehr gut zurecht. Übersichtlich und einfach zu handhaben. Alles wichtige ist enthalten. Würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

I would need a magnifying glass to read this! & my eyes are pretty good! I did not even take it away with me.

Economico è economico, senza ombra di dubbio... però si legge veramente a fatica... Conviene scaricare un'applicazione sul cellulare con le mappe Metro, decisamente più comodo. Oppure viaggiare con una lente d'ingrandimento.

This is a handy little laminated map you can fold and put into your wallet. Has accurate metro lines in Paris.Nice if you want to be discrete while sitting on the metro looking for other lines.
