I absolutely loved it was exactly what I thought it would be, one mason jar fills the pot full, and then once melted I add seven more scoops. Full melted pot makes one mason jar candle. Worked well with a few drops of essential oil, the pot was very easily cleaned. Little to absolutely no chance of being burned. So easy my okder kids could make candles too. I only wonder what the lid is for as I didn't see it in the instructions.

From spouse: Hubby has bees. I have been applying organic beeswax to his inside frames (whatever those are called). I was using a teflon cake pan in a double boiler in my kitchen. No matter how careful I was, wax would be everywhere when I was done. This is perfect. I was able to set up on a small folding table outside with some foil over it. Clean up was so easy. Practically didn't have to do clean up at all. Nothing like it was the old way. I got one for his beekeeping friend too. I don't know how it would be for making candles or other products, but I love it.

I used this to start making Beeswax pastes. It works well. It's been a little slow to melt stuff lately, but I'm trying to melt at a lower temperature to prevent scorching the beeswax.The biggest problem is that the melted wax tends to get on the outside of the bucket when pouring it. Even after wiping it clean, it still has some wax on the outside that causes it to stick to the melter when cool.

Great product. Heats up fast, keeps wax warm. Be sure to get some heat resistant gloves so that you don't burn yourself when pouring the wax.

It says it holds 16oz of wax. Unmelted wax I am only able to get 9oz, so you have to add more as it melts which is stupid. For me that doesn't matter because I only make 5 clamshells per 1oz of wax. Each of my cs holds under 2oz.Just beware it is tiny & a bit slow. It's quicker to do the double boiler method.

Please be careful when using this product. I’m a few candles in, and I noticed that the top of the unit has started melting. I tried wiping it up, thinking it was just wax, and a sticky black plastic material came up. The top is also starting to melt. Other than the unit itself melting like the wax you are supposed to put in it - it worked. Temperature controls are easy and heats up fairly fast for such a small/inexpensive unit. I’m able to melt enough wax for around a 10-12oz candle. After about 5 candles, the printing on the front is starting to fade already. I’ll be taking this product back though..

Great product. Needs converter if using in 220v area

Easy to use but hold only upto 400g of wax at a time so for big batch at a time is not useful but for can fill 2 to 3 150 ml jar at a time. One more thing you need to buy 3pin plug as it does not have round plug.

Item arrived smaller than advertised and a non Australian plug
