I have a sphynx cat and she is very picky plus she eventually becomes intolerant of most of the foods I’ve offered her. She’ll be doing fine on a certain diet and then in a couple weeks of feeding it , she begins to vomit. She has been on the chicken and chicken liver flavors of the Purrfect Pairings for several months and has actually put on a little weight. My only complaint is that it is often on back order and unavailable. The only other brand that she tolerates is Tiki Cat Fussy. That diet also becomes unavailable often.

Why you have changed the formula again? My cat ate only Tuna&Goat Milk and thats the second time in last 6 months that you have change something inside. Now will try to replace it with something more invariably.

The texture is a pate, not a mousse. My cat did not like this.

This is really good quality cat food. There is no doubt about that. I do however wish it was a little cheaper but I am willing to break the bank for my sweet grey tabby Smokey boy, who has a sensitive stomach. He has been losing weight since turning three years old... and we wanted to supplement his dry food with some wet food to help him keep some weight on. He is an indoor and outdoor cat. We tried shreds and chunks with gravy but both always made him throw it all up just a few minutes afterward. I tried some cheaper versions of paté but he also seemed sensitive to them. So I did some research and decided to give this mousse a try. It has so far really helped and he hasn't been throwing any of it up at all. Will keep buying but it is a bit pricey.

Bought this for my cat as she was getting picky. Wouldn't eat anything. But she loves milk and cheese. One lick and she devoured it!

It's difficult to find food that my cats will eat and keep down. If they eat too much, or eat too fast, or eat anything flaky - you get the point. They've been eating this for 4 days and no problems in any of those areas. However, it costs about twice as much as the Iams pate that I had been buying (which has been discontinued), has smaller containers, and because it's so creamy, it's difficult to get all of the food out of the container. Plus, the cats love it, so they're eating more. As a result, I'm not sure I can afford to feed them this every day, but it will make a nice treat.

Looks and smells a little unappetizing to me compared to other foods, but this food is perfect for the sad task of force feeding/syringe feeding an aging cat who refuses food but is otherwise reasonably healthy. My cat has early stage kidney disease and then possibly developed a liver condition after some stressful events, but this whitefish flavor (also tuna and chicken flavors) has helped me keep her alive through her self-imposed anorexia. This was the only food type she didn't throw up. We started on it about 10 weeks ago, and she has recovered enough to eat some dry food on her own too.One thing I dislike about "pate" foods is the high number of bone fragments and other non digestibles they usually have. In 30+ tubs of Solid Gold mousse, I've maybe found 1 bone fragment and 1 small fish scale.The food keeps well preserved if you cover it after opening or in a zipper sandwich bag in the fridge for several days. Helps to warm it up if it has been refrigerated.I'm about to order more!

The food is well packaged, fresh and our cats love it - what more could you ask for!
