Trustworthy Seller. Makes things right if something goes wrong.
Can you insert a microSD card into a slot? Got a Raspberry Pi? Then you are good to go. The image installed on this card is extremely simple to use. If you can insert the card into the Raspberry Pi card slot and plug in the usb-c power cord, then you have all the technical skills needed to start enjoying some retro-gaming! Even if you have the skills to source all of your own ROMs and Emulators and then configure everything, the number of hours it would take to setup something this turn key is absurd. The price of this card is well worth it for the 100s of hours that is saves you.Full disclosure, I bought the card and initially it worked fine. Then, one day, instead of 10K games there were only thirteen. I reached out to the support number via text and within a few minutes we had figured out what happened. I tried to run an update, the update glitched and boom, games gone. That issue is not on the builder of the card though. I should have backed up my stuff. Even so, within 24 hours of first reporting a problem, I had another card on the way. Moral of the story, you don't need to update, but if you do decide to, backup first.Buy with confidence.

Works exactly as advertised.
Got this for my Raspberry Pi 4b and it loaded up with no issues. Controllers connected right away and were easy to map but just be sure to have a hot key mapped to exit out of games. There is a huge selection of systems and games. It has all the essential games for each system. So far everything runs smoothly and I have had no major issues yet. From what I have seen, only the N64 games can be problematic. They run but can lag a little and the audio is off too but that is because of the Pi limitations. Other than that, the games look good. The video quality is great and looks just like I remember unlike those preloaded flash sticks. The autosave is a little iffy but so far is not a real problem. The audio breaks up on the occasion with the acade games after loading where you leave off.Overall, the value is great, it user friendly and takes minutes to setup.

Very Easy to Set Up
I bought this as my old card crapped out. It is geared more towards the 90's and 00's era games , but also has some old arcade stuff which is cool too. My only issue is that several of the MYME games freeze up, but I don't think there is an issue with the card, I don't think my raspberry pie 3b+ can keep up. Excellent transition and music selections pre-installed and this is a plug-n-play deal. I'm over 50 and it was easy for me. Great purchase especially for the price!

Make a backup before you use it or be prepared to have issues
Worked a few times, then started to have problems, then more problems and now useless. The microsd card is easy to corrupt, repaired the OS once. Next issue was the lose of thousands of games, saves and time trying to recover games and UI. On top of the game loses the OS is corrupt again, ugh! Support Max was quick to respond at first, and suggested a replacement card could be shipped if issues got worse, but Max has stopped responding to messages after a request to replace the card was made. Wish I would have made a backup before using it, so much time wasted trying to fix it compared to time playing. When it worked it was great. Will update if Max gets me back to gaming.

Too full!
Worked fine. Only issue is it's so full there is no room to run upgrades. Going to try and transfer it to a 128g sd card.

Quick and easy setup
Super fast and easy to setup just plugged into my Raspberry Pi 3 and I was able to start playing games right away. It’s amazing to see quite the extensive list of games. Really enjoy getting to play all the retro games again. Thinking about getting another one for my Raspberry Pi 4. I would highly recommend if you are into Raspberry Pi and retro gaming this is the best collection I’ve ever seen.

Your kids will thank you
If you want to show your kids how big of a hero you can be, go right ahead and pick this up and pop it into your Raspberry pie. Your kids will love playing this and it's easy to put together with a few parts found on amazon. Making sure your kids are learning how classic video games are long before they get wrapped up in modern games is well worth the time and effort. They seem to appreciate things more and these are great for 5-10 year olds as theyre simple and arent full of woke and sexually suggestive bs. Keep it simple and pick this up.

Convenient but not really necessary
I'll lead with the key point -> there is nothing here you can't do for free with any SD card, but there is a convenience to just popping the card in and starting up and playing. There is some convenience to the fact that it is basically all set up for you out of the box and you'd pay maybe $10 for a new SD card anyway. I don't really regret buying it, but it's not really necessary. After a couple days of use, I ended up setting up Batocera on a larger SD card so I could add some other systems with larger game files. One thing I don't like about the Sonicon configuration is that the "East" button (B on an Xbox controller) ends up being the primary button instead of A. On my fresh setup of Batocera, it uses A and I definitely prefer that. No idea where this is configured in Batocera.
