A very well written & detailed book on decluttering. I'm quite impressed by it but she makes it into a task or a big job which scares me. Maybe it's my fagile ego but whenever something is called a task, I go into panic mode! But I love the way she breaks it down for you, tackling most challenges along the way, even going as far to say: if selling on ebay & sth doesn't sell after a short while, that's collecting junk too. Give it away!

This actually works
I've many times decided I needed to have a good sort out,and get rid of the clutter, but have always run out of steam after a day or so. This book changed the way I approached the task and, a couple of weeks later, I'm still going and my house is gradually turning into a peaceful, calm and comfortable place to be. The author urges you to think about what you actually want to achieve, because we're not all minimalists, and then she breaks it down into short do-able chunks of time and effort. Her advice isn't rocket science but it is sensible, practical and, above all, achievable. I'm recommending this book to all my friends; it's really very good.

A physical and mental solution for declutter forever
I have finally found a physical and mental solution for decluttering forever. Many other self-help books I've read in the past on declutter are only packed with instructions how to throw away stuff or hide stuff. Most of the time, people have done a big clear out on the advice of those books will just start piling their junks again. This spiral is endless. But the Declutter book from Debora Robertson not only contains guidance how to declutter but also it tackles the mental and emotional issues of the human mind. It focuses on "Declutter for good". Declutter is both a physical and mental activity. This book guides me how to make my mind and body agree with each other. It is both mind and body not either or. And this is the critical success factor of this book. Thank you Debora 😘😘😘

Useful book
Bought hard copy for a friend in need and then downloaded for myself (for 99p). Easy to read and great suggestions, bins full and charity shops benefitting.

It's fun to tidy
I love this book, it's totally inspired me to a point I can't wait for the weekends, the only time I can really devote to decluttering, to clear another cupboard, another drawer. It's written with such humour that it doesn't make you feel you're being lectured about your dreadful hoarding. The cartoons throughout make me really giggle. My house is definitely starting to feel "lighter".
