They should probably say they are not red , they come more dark brown and not as appetizing from a visual perspective, the taste was mild and nice (more important) I was pleased. If you are expecting pretty red beets for a salad presentation I wouldn't order this but if it's just for you to eat they have a pleasant taste.

Should have been shipped with an ice pack!
Typically these are a great product but this delivery came from the seller in a oardboard box on a 90° day - with no effort toward temperature control. For the price, I expected better shipping practice on a produce item.
