Great Builder/Rubber Base
I happen to be one of those that can't get nail polish to stay adhered on my nails. I wanted a good rubber base gel, and this one had good reviews. I was elated to find how well it worked. Normally I couldn't get more than 2 days out of my gel polish, and 1 from regular lacquer. I've had my current polish on for almost 2 weeks. No, they're not perfect; but I work with wood, resin, and hand-wash dishes. This base surprised me, in a good way.

Good base coat
Applies thickly but evenly, as expected due to type of base coat. Cured well with uv/led light.

Easy to work with
The base is probably the thickest gel I've ever tried. It cured well though and my polish has stayed on for about a week now with zero lifting or chipping. Has a slight rubbery scent.

Excellent. Really gives strength for manicure to last
The media could not be loaded. I do my gel nail manicure pretty regularly, this last time the only product that I changed in my manicure was this Kodi JYJ rubber base coat, so I feel like I was able to specifically test just how this performed. My nails are on the thinner side, and I really can’t get them to grow too long without breaking, even with gel nails. Typically when I am cleaning or putting the fitted sheet on a mattress, my nails bend and then the manicure just starts chipping off. This whole last week I’ve been putting my nails to the test. I have been gardening (with medical gloves), had my hands in the pool for hours, made beds, cleaned around the house, prepped meals, did dishes 3x/day (with gloves), washed my hands hundreds of times, and these nails really don’t look worn down. I have photos from the first day and the seventh day. I see cuticle growth but no chipping at all, and very minimal wear at the tips. The rubber base coat is THICK. It kept making a smacking sound as I removed the brush from and replaced it into the bottle. It went on smooth and I had this beautiful thick layer that was so glossy. It didn’t run into my cuticles as other base coats can do.The routine that I had this past week was very similar to what I do all the other weeks with other gel nail manicures, and by now my nails should look like I need to desperately redo them. But they still look great and I am extremely impressed. On a sidenote, I contacted Kodi professional to ask if they also did this Kodi JYJ line and they had no idea what I was talking about. They are definitely not the same company but this still performs so well.

Great quality base coat! Don't use too much!
Great as A BASE COAT for gel nail color. Needs to be cured for 60-80 seconds beneath a UV lamp to get optimal results for drying. I used a mini lamp and it still worked wonderfully. This base coat becomes tacky enough to help apply an even layer of the gel polish, which I found helpful. Something useful I noticed is that if I applied too thick a layer of this, it burned my nail beneath the lamp for the first 10 seconds. The thinner the layer, the less it burned (could just be me, but that's what I noticed) . I did the nail prep as recommended, but would probably suggest letting nails stand alone for a few minutes after prep before applying the base gel. Final thought: I love that this base coat keeps my nails from looking textured, bumpy, or uneven. It's such a great barrier between the actual nail and the gel polish. Well done! I highly recommend finding a different top coat....not this one!

Good for covering up nail ridges
The media could not be loaded. I have soft, thin nails with ridges. I tried Orly rubberized base coat and had good results when the nails were short but had to try this gel version now that my nails are a bit longer.First impression is it is thick and there is a slight odor. There is no instruction manual.I prepped my nails with alcohol and nail prep, but did not buff. My nails are thin enough and I want to see how the product works without this extra step.I applied the gel in a thin layer then cured in my UV/LED lamp for 80 seconds. I'm sure I could have stopped at a minute. The gel was tacky on top and I removed it with alcohol. I then put regular nail on top. My nails looked smooth but they could still bend. Can't say what the longevity is for this product but these days if I get a day or two from gel/polish I'm good. Five days would be awesome.8/30/22 Update: I'm on day five and I don't see any signs of chipping despite washing dishes and showering. I'm really impressed.9/4/22 Final Update: I changed my nail color to purple and the rubber gel is still holding on for dear life through dish washing, hair washing and house cleaning. I have not had a reaction, but when trying these products remove it if you see anything out of the ordinary.

Quality base coat, works well as a base for gel polish.
The first thing that I will note about this product is that it was securely packaged and well-protected from shipping damage. I appreciate the effort that went into shipping this item securely. This worked great for me as a base coat and noticeably extended the wear of my most recent gel polish application. It provides a thick, smooth finish that improves the overall quality of any gel polish process. In short, this is a reliable , quality base coat that will be a great addition to any gel nail polish collection. Note that it requires use of a UV lamp.

Practically vital
I've finally joined the crowd and am now using gel nail polishes. One thing I've learned right away is that nails not properly prepared for gel polish will sooner than one would imagine have that stuff peel right off, and at the most inauspicious times.KODI rubber base coat has solved this for me. It's thick yet goes on easily and cures quickly under a UV lamp. The one or two layers of polish that top it now will last much longer, and with a good top coat, I'm set for weeks of trouble-free gel-polished nails.Best advice when you apply this rubber base coat: use it sparingly.I think you will also notice how much longer your nail colors will last.
