Three Brief comparison
I really only like to write reviews if I have compared the product to other similar products, and in this case I have tried 3 different products:Hanes Comfort Flex Boxer BreifsEx Officio Men's GiveNGo briefsChampion Men's Tech Performance.Hanes Comfort Flex vs Champion Tech/Ex OfficioThere simply is no way that regular cotton briefs from the store are as good the moisture wicking fabrics. The Hanes aren't as long so they still ride up. Once they get wet you are in for a bad time and chafing. They aren't anywhere near as comfortable as the other two.Ex Officio Men's GiveNGo briefs vs Champion Men's Tech Performance:After reading a lot of reviews I bought the Ex Officio's thinking they are the best in the market. After extensive use of both, I much prefer the Champions for everyday use due to their absorption qualities. There is one reason for this: Absorption. The Ex Officio's are Nylon, feel much thinner, absorb pretty much no sweat, but will dry faster if completely soaked. The Champion's don't dry as fast, feel thicker, but they can actually absorb a little bit.If you threw both of these in a pool and took them out the Ex Officio's would be completely dry faster than the Champion's, as they don't retain as much water. The reason the Champion's high absorption is better for underwear is because of visibility. When nylon gets 'soaked wet' is changes color like anything else. The polyester will also, but it can absorb a bit before it looks 'soaked wet'. 1 oz of water spilled on nlyon will make a 'wet' looking spot so big that to make a spot that big on polyester it would take 4-5oz and cotton(bluejeans) would take an entire 8oz cup to make a 'soaked wet' looking spot that big.Let me give an example: I was on a walk in the city one summer night, on a date, when it was about 85' F out. I was sweating a good bit, and was wearing the Ex Officios with light brown Nylon Pants. Nylon underwear + Nylon pants = disaster. The Ex Officio's and Nylon pants didn't absord practically any sweat before they started to look wet. Due to the lack of absorption by the Ex Officios and pants, where I was sweating my pants started turning dark around my buttocks and nether regions. My date seriously thought I had pooped my pants. It looked like a had too. It was very embarrassing. We didn't have a second date. If I had been wearing the Champion's with Polyester pants my sweat would not have even been visible.I still wear the Ex Officio's, but I am mindful of what I'm wearing outside of them. I might use them for also long backpacking trips for their anti-bacterial qualities. They work fine with basketball pants or dark clothing, as sweat won't show through.

Premium comfort at a less-than-premium price.
Jun 2017 Follow-up: As an "FYI," just received another pair of the Gray LLBoxers: these were ordered from Amazon (as opposed to a 3rd party seller), and - as far as I can tell - appear IDENTICAL to the 3 other pair of Grays already owned. (1 Gray from original order; 2 additional ordered in the meantime.) Making this note as some buyers have complained about not receiving the correct item: apparently Amazon must have at least some remaining stock. Now have 4 pairs of Gray, plus 1 in Black: for whatever reason prefer the "feel" of the Gray (as noted in original review). The older pairs seem to be wearing quite well - although do wash in Cold Water (as per garment label), and Dry on Perm Press (removing while slightly damp) in hopes of avoiding damage to elastic.Bought 2 pairs of these: 1 Black and 1 Gray. Both fit well, but the Gray pair has a different texture to the fabric - less "smooth" than the black.FWIW, I much prefer the "feel" of the Gray pair, and am ordering 2 more of those.Per the labels, materials used - and percentages - are the same. Still, you can get a hint of the Visible difference by "Zooming" the photos shown on the product listing page: the slight visible difference shown in the photos is more apparent in real life, and can be Felt.Possibility, of course, that that is simply a lot-to-lot variation, although the photos imply otherwise. Also own Champion "Vapor Technology" and "Smart Temp" boxers: would give the edge to the Vapor Tech of these 2 types, but they are not as comfortable as the "Tech Performance," especially in warmer weather.Kirkland Pima cotton boxers fall a bit below the Smart Temp, and essentially gave up wearing them during this summer.Have also tried a Premium Boxer: Duluth "Buck Naked," in both mid- and long-leg boxers. Those rank with the Tech Perf (especially the Long-Leg pair), but they are also considerably more costly. In all cases, I find that the "Long(er) Leg" versions are the more comfortable.Stats for reference: 5' 8-9"; just under 150lbs; 32-33" waist (tore some ligaments / gained weight over summer. Sigh.)Legs would probably be considered "moderately muscular," and most of these fit "skin tight" at start of day. But the Tech Perf & the Duluth Long Leg pairs manage to provide greater comfort start to finish, while still maintaining a fairly snug fit at the end the day.(The Pimas have the worse stretch / ride up, followed by Smart Temps. Vapor Techs are OK for a light activity day - or in mild weather.)

perfect boxer brief for the office/gym/beach
Over the years I have tried many different brands of boxer briefs - from the very cheap brands (Hanes, Fruit of the Loom) to the expensive (Calvin Klein, Underarmour, etc.). This one, hands down beats them all. I might actually rank the regular leg length boxer brief of this brand slightly higher, but this long leg version is almost just as good. The fabric of these is much more like athletic compression underwear, but slightly softer and not as tight. I personally prefer this type of fabric much better than normal cotton underwear. In my experience with cotton underwear, they tend to lose shape over the course of the day and require a bit of adjustment throughout the day. That is not the case with these boxer briefs. The fabric is flexible but at the same time keeps all your man parts secure and in-place throughout the day. The fabric is also moisture-wicking - very different than normal cotton underwear. Therefore these boxer briefs work well under boardshorts or swim shorts for extra support. As they get wet, they don't absorb and retain the water as much as cotton boxer briefs. Therefore these are perfect for any occasion from sitting in the office, to swimming, to running/working out at the gym. Design-wise, they're pretty nice, simple, nothing fancy. Not a huge fan of the large logo on the waistband, but that's being picky.Overall, these are the first boxer briefs I'll pick to wear after doing laundry. Good price & quality, can't go wrong.

Most comfortable underwear I've found
Most comfortable underwear I've found. Fits like cycling shorts, and the bottom of the legs are about 2" above my knees. They're thin, and wicking, and sometimes it would be nice to have some thicker and warmer ones with all the same qualities, but for what they are, they're perfect. Only annoyance, apart from the price, is the continual lack of availability of XL size--I want to get more, but they've been out of my size for months.

Amazing Boxers!
These are the best boxer-sports underwear I have ever have wore. I usually get jock itch on the inside area of my thighs due to friction between my legs of my legs. With these, I can go all day and at the end of the day go to the gym and never felt any kind of discomfort whatsoever. I have worn many kinds boxer-like underwear and none has worked as good as this one. I first purchased 2 of these, then 2 more and lastly 2 more for a grand total of 6. I wear these most of the time. I cannot recommend them enough!
