I am writing this mainly because I have purchased and assembled a TON of the engineered wood/quick-assemble furniture in my life and this is probably the best experience I've had all-around. Arrived completely intact without a single scratch on it (which was due to the excellent job packing it securely). Color is spot on as in pictures and has "re-claimed" look and texture; the latter being rare among the look-a-likes like this. Super easy to assemble, directions are simple and easy to understand, and the best part about this and what makes it stand out: It's solid as a solid wood bookshelf. The design of it was well thought out for both simplicity and structural integrity. It's the little things like adding 6 screw-in angled reinforcement brackets for the back slats rather than 1000 wood nails and slotting the back side of the whole thing so that slats can slide in rather than just sit on top. Everything is secured with both wooden dowels and the twist-lock nuts/bolts. Wood glue is added for the dowels to reinforce all of the connections there as well. Very pleased with this and so glad I bought the file cabinet that matches because I know these pieces will last. Also (if it's something you care about), their MDF board is phase 1 and 2 compliant (formaldehyde levels), which is something I check for when I purchase engineered wood furniture. Highly recommend this brand.

I own this bookcase, as well as one of their L shaped desks and a TV Stand - all of them, are easy to build and sturdy. The bookcase took maybe 10 minutes to put together... but I've built a lot of things that come with bad instructions. This product though is easy, only so many parts so the instructions cover what you need to know. I plan to order 2 more of these for my office.

Great product. It is sturdy and has clean lines. The upper and lower shelves are adjustable, but the middle shelf is stationary when assembled. Assembly took about 1 hour with only one person. The directions are only pictures, so I'd suggest looking through everything before putting this together. When unpacking, I missed the 2 plastic brackets that hold the backing boards together, and they are easy to miss in the directions, too. I had to undo part of the bookshelves after I thought I had completed it to add those in.I'm using this for my kids' books. I adjusted the lowest shelf to the highest setting for their larger books. This doesn't leave much room between the second and third shelf (the third is not adjustable). I was able to put smaller board books on that shelf, and also added some books laying down flat.

I wanted a built-bookshelf, however that was not feasible due to time constraints. I purchased four of these bookshelves and created a tall bookshelf just like I envisioned.Assembly: My 15 year d son assembled them, he said it was very easy to follow the instructions.Sturdiness: The middle shelf is stationary, which provides the support for the entire bookshelf. The backing is somewhat sturdy.Function: There are two shelves that are adjustable, the pins are not plastic, so that is a good thing.Although the bookshelves are your typical particle board, they are a good value for your money. Very satisfied with them.

This shelf exceeded my expectations. The box had a few bumps but it was well packed so there wasn't any major damage to the shelf (2 corners had super slight creases but luckily were on the bottom). It took some focus to understand the instructions - there were only pictures after the parts were listed, but the parts are numbered. It came with wood glue for the dowels, so that will help keep it sturdy. Overall it was the easiest furniture assembly I have ever done. The back panel design is brilliant! No hammering little tack nails into cardboard that inevitably slips and thus damaging your newly purchased and assembled peice. It all lined up very well (not quite perfect, something was a tiny bit off square, noticeable when I set the shelves in place). The back tabs to help firm up the back panels were the toughest part of the physical assembly, but that's necessary for their purpose (very snug fit and had to really work to get them in place). I mention all the tiny flaws because you have to REALLY search for them, and even then they are hard to spot and well worth the easy assembly and solid product.

The parts I received didn't have labels on them; and most of the holes didn't line up or in some cases, didn't even exist. On top of that I am missing a part so I'm unable to have one of the draws to use. A lot of the pieces are chipped. I have contacted customer service to order a replacement part so I will update my review when they respond.Once the desk came together though it is a very lovely desk and it's pretty light, so it'a easy to move.

I got this shelf for to display some of my My Little Pony collection on, got this to replace a previous shelf I was using for them. Unlike what the description says, the middle shelf is not actually adjustable, only the other two are. The instructions aren't too terribly hard to understand, but be aware that they are only pictures, no text explaining the steps. My shelf did arrive a little damaged in the corners of a couple pieces, which I've taken a photo of. Thankfully they aren't too noticeable.

Nothing lined up correctly. I had to get a hammer and force it to come together. Can’t move it because it would most likely fall apart. The cams didn’t work properly. It was a nightmare to put together. I’ve never had such a hard time putting a piece of furniture together.
