may need instuctions for some not familiar with this process
this product works great leave the chain on the saw while you do it and make sure it is not running and cannot easily be switched on if its electrically powered.you will need a vice to hold the chainsaw arm tightly and a maker pen to mark each tooth as you have sharpened ita few strokes will sharpen one blade , use it horizontally, and at 30 degrees in the other direction to pick up the tooth angle..mark the tooth with a marker pen when completethen flip the tool over and magically you have the opposite 'hand' of round file to do the next tooth ...continue to flip each time until you see your original marked tooth reappear.....it takes longer to come round than you think so be patient. !!Finally for an electric powered saw use the tool to pull the chain towards you manually so you don't need to power the saw at any time ...if you have an auto brake this may not be possible

My chainsaw was as blunt as a butter knife, 10 minutes later it was super sharp, simple to use, very good if you want a super sharp chainsaw.
