Great TV
I dont believe this model is available anymore but if you do find it, get it! You wont be disappointed. Built in speakers are better than samsung sound bar i have on a different tv. I am impressed. Remote also has Alexa voice control.

Great deal on sale
We were in the market for a new tv, don’t have cable only Amazon Fire Stick and have a smaller size of this make with the Fire Stick installed, so when we saw this on sale decided to go from a 55 inch to a 65 inch as there was only $100 difference, photo doesn’t do it justice, it’s huge and picture quality is top notch. Can’t say anything about sound quality as we have only had it connected to a sound bar. Love it.

Toshiba Amazon Fire TV M550 broken - minor update to event timeline - still no resolution
Purchased Toshiba Amazon FireTV 55M550 in July 2022, and it worked fine until about September 2022, At that time tv firmware was updated, and also Apple TV 4K firmware was updated to iOS 16. Then problems started. HDMI CEC and HDMI eARC stopped working. Apple TV 4K would report audio control as IR and not HDMI as previously, and on other Toshiba Amazon FireTV's with Apple TV 4K. Apple TV 4K HDMI-CEC would not turn TV off/on as was normal. Yamaha sound bar stopped outputting audio via eARC on HDMI port 1 as was normal. Contacted Amazon, who spent about half an hour trying to resolve the problem, unsuccessfully, and said they would escalate the issue and call back. Call back never occurred. Contacted Toshiba Customer support, which is actually Hisense. They opened a service ticket, and eventually dispatched a field service technician who replaced the motherboard and left. A few hours later, when I turned the TV on the screen had a black vertical streak on the right side and gray horizontal streaks on the bottom of the screen. The eArc and CEC problems were fixed however. Contacted the tech who said to call Toshiba/Hisense. Contacted Toshiba/Hisense again and they said they would dispatch another field service technician to field destroy the television and replace the television, and opened a new service ticket. The day before the second field service tech comes I turned on the TV and connected it to the internet to check for updates and any change in operating status. The original eARC and CEC problems had returned, and the Apple TV 4K was again reporting IR audio control not HDMI, and no sound bar audio. The next day the second field service tech comes to look at the television. When he requested to turn on the TV the jagged line pattern typical of a cracked panel appeared. He says he will submit a report to Toshiba/Hisense. He leaves without field destroying the TV. Toshiba/Hisense now says the TV panel is cracked and this damage is not covered under manufacturers warranty, and will not replace the TV, and will do nothing further, leaving me with a $400+ piece of damaged, not working eqiupment that is only four months old. Contacted Amazon again and they forwarded this story to Best Buy, the seller, who replies that because more than 30 days have elapsed since purchase, to contact Toshiba. A Best Buy Geek squad rep calls and requests pictures, and later replies that the panel is cracked, and because more than 30 days have passed they will not replace the TV.55M550 is not currently available on Amazon anymore (because it's a lemon?).Seems like BestBuy, Amazon, Toshiba, Hisense want to destroy their reputation due to a poorly produced/manufactired product.An abysmal product experience. Yeah, sometime during the course of servicing it appears the panel was cracked, but it was not the original problem - AND - the original problem has returned. $400+ product with multiple problems.

Toshiba quality
This tv replaced a Samsung that died right after the warranty, and I had a Toshiba before, and it lasted a long time before I gave it away.

Nice tv but sometimes lags
I really like that I can use it with voice control and it has alexa built-in, but tv freezes sometimes and I think some apps do not update itself, so you have to delete and redownload for them to work. My Netflix and paramount+ stopped working, so redownloading them worked. The tv occasionally freezes but unplugging solves the problem

Would Not Purchase Again
This TV has been so aggravating. Cannot add Philo to my live apps. It is constantly telling me to sign into App Store when the TV is signed into my Amazon account. Cannot get support from Amazon. Called customer service and was talking to someone for 30 minutes. I was put on hold and the call disconnected. Better to just buy a tv and connect a fire stick

Amazing TV
This TV is awesome. You barely even need the remote to watch, and the picture is incredible. The sound is probably the best feature, very loud and cinema quality.

First Toshiba Fire TV is a Big Surprise! AWESOME PICTURE and Audio! Remote could be better with Labels, not just Icons. Alexa feature is Great and works TV and other Smart Home features in your Home. Great Price!
