I've purchased a few of these, they are great for what they are. I have a lot of RC experience including helicopters. If you have zero experience, use a simulator first!!

I received this Emax Tinyhawk 3 in time frame as promised. But, I didn’t want the included grease stains on the case and USB battery charger OR especially the scuff marks on the drone itself. I know items get returned all the time, but I am not going to pay $170+ for an obviously used drone. I submitted for a return/exchange. Hopefully the next one won’t be so evidently already flown, crashed, and returned after a greasy meal. :-/

This drone is amazing. As a drone pilot just starting out with FPV this drone is perfect for learning to fly FPV. I've crashed this so many times without any noticeable damage to it. The video quality is excellent for such a small drone and is perfect for what it does. I got the BNF version because I already have an FrSky transmitter and goggles and I do have to say that it was a pain to try and bind it and map all the switches. The instructions aren't very helpful in the binding process because it doesn't specify which button is the bind button. There is a button by the micro USB port that I thought was the bind button, but after a lot of frustration trying to bind it, I found that the bind button is actually hidden inside the canopy of the drone. Other than that everything is great.On the other hand the case that the drone comes in, is absolutely terrible. It looks great however the zipper came with a missing tooth and after trying to zip it up several other teeth got caught and fell off. Now I can't zip up the case at all.Overall I recommend the drone but I suggest getting a different case for it if you can.

This is a fantastic product but if you are inexperienced you will need to take your time to get a feel for the drone and controller It is a great little flyer and the 3 flying modes will help you build confidence and your skill level It has a lot of Zip and it will take off on you if to hard on the accelerator

Love this little thing. Even though it is an indoor aircraft, I fly it outdoors mainly. It handles really well in a stiff gusty breeze. My favorite aircraft out of probably 12, including the DJI FPV. Seat-of-the-pants flying baby! My dogs snatched it out of the air one too many times and broke the frame. I bought a new frame for $10 but may not use it. It still flies great and the little added instability caused by the broken frame makes it even more fun to fly outdoors. You have to crank up the VTX power for outdoors. Great little starter for FPV, Racing, or just having fun flying. It's not meant to hover, minimal built in stabilization. It's meant to get up and go.

1st one I got was great, crashed it lots learning to fly. 2nd one the camera wires solder connections came loose on a hard landing with in an hour. 3rd and 4th didn't work at all!!! Right out of the box!!! Not good customer service from the manufacturer. Don't buy!!! Crap!!!

This was my first drone, and an excellent entry into the hobby. We had a great time together, and while it worked, it was great. But, there is an issue with how the antenna attaches, in that it's soldered on to face out the front, but bent back to then go out the back of the frame. Over time, this led to it breaking off. I was able to re-solder it on, and it lasted for a bit again, but ended up breaking again, and for some reason, you cannot buy a replacement antenna from EMax. I would love to keep on using this drone, as it been great, and would love to make this a 5-star review, but I unfortunately cannot.
