Great accessory...$ well spent
Love my DM1 wallet...for years my wife worked for a luxury brand that produced men's wallets, so I carried one of those. Well, things changed when I saw a DM1 and I knew it was perfect for me. The innovation, the design, the simplicity...it all made a statement that I absolutely believed and I have enjoyed mine since I got it. I jokingly call it my $1000 wallet because since I started carrying it I have purchased around a dozen for friends and family members as gifts...it's not for everybody, but it is exactly what I needed.Adding the money clip was $ well spent...and it takes care of next years Christmas gifts for everyone I have given a wallet to as well. The fit and finish is as good as the DM1 and the clip is very strong. I'm married, so I don't have much cash (yes, it's true), but the clip holds a single bill as well as it holds 3-4. It also holds business cards or whatever so even married guys like me can use it. It slips in and out of the wallet as easy as a card and could even be used without the wallet if needed.Glad I added one to my DM1, you will be too.

Pretty good
I've had my Decadent Minimalist for a while and decided to get the money clip. I was hesitant because the clip is a little expensive. But, decided to bite the bullet.Overall, it's works. Looks bigger in the picture than in real life. Part of my hesitation was what looked like a big clip. But, it's a good size.Saw some of the other comments that when taking money out, the clip pulls out. Yeah, it does that. Probably depends on how many cards are in wallet. More cards might make it tighter. What works for me is to put my thumb on the hump in front and seems fine. The other thing I tried was to reverse the clip, so it'll push out when you put money in the clip. For that, you can push the end to put in cash which may be easier than holding it down while pulling out cash.I have the 12 card wallet with about 10 cards, and things seem fine. I like it alot. Just costly. Cash was my big problem with the Decadent Minimalist, and this solves it. The next one are receipts. Might be solved by this. Normally, i just slip them between cards.

Bad money clip, worse bottle opener
I read the other reviews that said it was difficult to get money in and out because of the bottle opener in the back side. "That's fine," I thought to myself, "I need a bottle opener, and it's worth a bit of extra pain with the money."When it arrived, it was indeed difficult to get money in and out. Oh well, at least it's a bottle opener. The first time I tried opening a bottle with it, it worked... But it became warped so badly that it doesn't work as a money clip anymore and it won't go back into the wallet it's made for.

A must have for DM wallet
I got my first DM (8 card)wallet a couple of years ago and absolutely love it. I got the smaller 4 card one for when I am wearing a sports jacket and keeping it in my jacket pocket. The 8 card would fine but the 4 4 card wallet is very low profile. I love both and highly recommend this wallet. The money is easy to take in or out or swap between wallets. Awesome product.

Not recommended
Not very practical. Not using it anymore as it doesnt hold all notes efficiently.

Needs a little more thought
The quality of this is great but when it's in the dm1 and you go to pull a credit card out the money clip just falls out it's happened almost every time I've gone to pay for something I've le to just hold the hump on the back every time I pull a card out now but that's the reason for 3 stars but the quality gets 5* all the way, I think it just needs a little more thought on the way it should hold in place once inserted in the dm1 maybe have the 2 end parts fold over the edge of the dm1 with some rubber sleeves on it to help hold it in place better or something along those lines..

If cash is king then your going to need this!!!
I run a cash only business so I deal with a lot of paper currency. Obviously I purchased the DM1 from Decadent Minimalist; I had an issue with the bulk which most standard wallets produce. Here is the thing, the moneyclip is not a necessity for anyone who does not use a lot of paper currency; so this is a highly optional addition which is dependent on your lifestyle and your use of currency. This item displaces 1 card in your fully loaded DM1 but expands your storage to allow for a healthy bank roll of cash. If cash is still king in your world and you don't have a suitable moneyclip then quit reading this and just press the "add to cart" button because all your doing by browsing the reviews is wasting your time; trust me.
