Finally - Man Hands Controllers
My kids love their Switch and they have asked me to play alongside them when we are on the go. When at home I use a pro controller because it fits my hands. When I’ve had to play with the system on the go, my hands literally couldn’t hit everything because I have large hands. I would try to play, but just couldn’t make it work.Saw these on sale and gave them a run - they are great. You can see in the pictures that the controllers are almost 2 times the size of the stock joycons. They are also about twice as thick - feels like a real controller instead of the smaller joycons. Very pleased with these and the response seems to be very good - no stick drift and great ease of use in the layout. Extra rear button on each side is a nice bonus. If you need to get something that will fit a larger set of hands for your gameplay - this is a win!

Great controllers
These were so comfortable to grip vs the standard joy cons and the design is beautiful. I definitely recommend for long term hand held use.

An absolute must if you use your switch a lot on the go!
These work very well and make the switch a lot easier to hold onto in handheld mode, the actual D-Pad is a nice addition to have for games where you need or use it a lot, and they feel very nice in the hand on the switch. If you're someone who is bothered by how something feels, fair warning that these are light as a feather when not attached to the switch, and do feel pretty hollow when on their own, but when they're mounted up they feel solid and comfortable, don't wiggle or twist at all under the weight of the console, and control well! If you have small hands I don't think they present a problem either, because a lot of the controls are on the outer edges of the controllers.Over all they make the abxy buttons and D-Pad feel nicer, the bumpers and triggers are larger and easier to differentiate between, and everything feels very solid! The printing on mine seems perfect as well!I'm very happy with mine, and highly recommend them!

Fast Action Needs a Controller That Can Keep Up
I don't typically use my Switch to play with the Dock and the TV. I generally prefer handheld mode. I was able to use the joycons without much difficulty even with bigger hands, but some games (Monster Hunter Rise, for example) need fast inputs and that's where I started having some difficulty. For that game especially, the Hori Split Pad Pro was highly recommended so I decided to give it a try. They're large, there's no denying that. At first I thought maybe too large, but once I started playing I quickly got used to the feel of them. They connect exactly like the joycons by sliding into the rails on either side of the Switch.Adding in a Turbo mode which traditional joycons don't have, and 2 flipper paddles on the back as well, and I have a new favorite controller. They do not work wirelessly. Reiterate: Handheld Mode ONLY.

A must have for the Switch
Don’t let my four stars fool you. This is THE set of pads you want if you take your Switch on the go. Their feels similar to that of an Xbox controller than the tiny Joy Cons. The back buttons are great when customizing you button layout. The only thing that made me take a star off is the fact that heavy use seems to run off the face buttons (pictured in second photo is my first set). Other than that, I highly recommend this if you are a heavy Switch user.

Son Loves It
So much more comfortable than the joy-cons. They perform much better. Easy to install. It may not fit the original switch case I bought but still happy with the purchase.

The best Joycon controllers for handheld play.
I'm in love with these Joycon controllers fro Hori. The comfort is far better than the Nintendo joycons. They also fit perfectly in my hands. While it is a con, the lack of rumble, gyro aim and nfc reader is missing features. The programmable buttons only work on the side of the Joycon it's on. Personally comfort outweighs all of the lost features as you can play for hours in handheld. If the joycons feel small, hurts your hands after long gaming sessions, or just hard to hit buttons while using the right analog stick. Give these a try.

You can do better for the price, but the look nice
Honestly, I mainly bought these to collect due to the Arceus design. They look great, and they function fairly well for what they are. But I have a few gripes.Firstly, the cost. I know it's officially licensed, but they cost the same (and sometimes more) than something like the BinBox or Nexigo controllers, which fill a similar niche but with RGB lights, better ergonomics, rumble, gyro, and also working wirelessly. These grips have none of those features. And again, that's at the same price, and sometimes more for some of the color/design variations. These grips are a lot better ergonomics than the original joycon, but for larger hands they are too thin. The nexigo controllers have a wider thickness on the grips letting them fill my hands better. One thing I can say though is that these have pretty much 0 wriggle in the rail when used with my OLED, but a downside is it seems to lightly scuff up a the upper corners of the back. The home button does not power on the device, you will need to actually press the power button. Not a big deal, but something I regularly forgot until I went to hit the home button and suddenly remembered
