This duo kit for your beard which contains beard balm and beard wash would make a great gift. I've been using it for myself and find the beard wash to be really nice. It's interesting to use something other than a standard shampoo on your beard. After i'm done shampooing and rinsing I typically always follow up with the beard balm. The beard balm is a little thick and tacky and makes your beard smooth/look fuller. The only problem I have with these beard products is I don't like the smell of either one. This is problematic because the beard is very close to the nose. The scent is woody and spicy, I think it's the spice scent that I find off putting.

So my husband has been working on his beard for a while now. He is constantly trying to figure out different ways to take care of it and it's been a learning process. I saw this beard kit that is meant for new and shorter types of beards and I decided to get it for my husband.So far, my husband loves this kit a lot. At first, I was worried the smell might have been too strong for my husband but he seems to enjoy it a lot. He loves how well the shampoo washes his beard and it makes his beard feel and look a lot softer. He hasn't used a lot of beard balm in his beard journey but he did say he liked how it didn't make his beard feel weird and that it did seem to keep his beard a lot more tamed than it usually would. So far, this kit is great for beards but I will say that the scent is up to the person. I do look forward to maybe more variety in scents for these products but for right now this will do!

The wash and balm are not bad products, mind you. I just was not really impressed. I researched most of the ingredients for both products and they were not bad ingredients, in fact they have some very good ingredients. However, I would rather use all natural products if they are available. I was interested in seeing how these products delt with my course bristlely short beard. The wash did well enough. The balm is thinner than I expected it to be. All I use is a dab - I put my finger over the opening of the bottle and tilt the bottle to get the dab. I then rub my hands together to spread it evenly and then spread it over my beard. I will sometimes add another dab if needed. I then brush my beard to even the balm out. It does moisturize my beard but it feels a little oily compared to the Big Crazy Buffalo balm I now use.

My husband liked the products in this Proraso Beard Care Duo Kit fine but we both found the scent way too strong.He said the wash and balm left his beard clean and soft. The wood and spice scent would be nice if it wasn't completely drowned out by an overwhelming scent of alcohol. The scent is just too much, especially when using both products together.On the plus side, the products themselves look nice with the beard balm in a nice glass bottle. Both items come packaged in a giftable box.

I like this beard kit quite a bit. The shampoo doesn't get too foamy and easily washes out. It's also not too heavy on the scent in my opinion. Now the beard balm has the consistency of a hand soap but isn't very greasy and is easy to apply. Only a little is needed and that has the stronger spice fragrance that you'll be smelling for a while after applying it. The product does what it's intended and helped soften my short stach' and goat.

If you’re looking for a nice beard wash and beard balm, but don’t like something with an overwhelming scent, this product should be on your list. It feels great on the skin and does a great job of cleaning while being lightly (and I mean lightly) scented. I work in healthcare so avoided overly scented products is a priority for me. The scent is so light I can use this before work and feel comfortable I wont trigger an allergic responsive in someone.

While I love the smell of this beard wash/balm, the scent is way too strong and announces its presence well before I enter a room. I used a very tiny amount of the wash and while my beard was soft and my skin felt clean, the scent of the wash was overpowering, causing me to have to rewash my face after I was out of the shower. The balm is a bit calmer with the smell but still pretty strong, so I use an extremely tiny amount. I'll probably continue using the balm, but I can't use the wash anymore.

Habitué de ses produits, j’ai reçu un shampooing qui était très liquide comme s’il avait été coupé à l’eau. Pour la lotion aucun problème.
