There is very little point to this case.1) It does NOT provide good grip. Simple test: with the case on, hold the iphone with your thumb on the screen and your other fingers on the back (against the case). Now rub your thumb and other fingers in opposite directions to see which slip across the surface. This case is often more slippery than the iphone! (Because the sheer surface of the glass becomes "sticky" when there is just a tiny bit of moisture from your fingers)2) The protection is extremely minimal. Its own description is "scratch protection." Yep—good it that is all you're looking for.3) The case is just thick enough that it makes it a little harder to use the buttons. The case is almost flush with the buttons, so it is harder to identify them with feel.Bottom line:If ALL you want is scratch protection for the back of your phone, and you don't mind it being a little harder to feel the buttons, it would be a good case for you. The build quality is good.

Definitely one of the lightest cases I got. Great minimalist design.The only concerns are that the case is a bit slippery (than other hard-plastic ones that I've owned). The buttons on the side and the speaker in the bottom are completely exposed, if that could be a concern for you. I guess it still provides a drop protection although I didn't deliberately test it.

Enjoy the texture and sleek look. Easy to hold and adds a nice minor barrier to the elements. Paired with a screen protector you can get excellent coverage.I don't like having a rubberized or heavy duty case for my phone. This one does a great job and is an improvement over the prior model I had as the bottom is more open with easier access. It's a tad pricey for what you get but all in all exactly what I expected.

I love the feel of this case! It’s amazing and looks great. It doesn’t have a lip on the sides so if you put your phone facedown the screen lays flat on the surface rather than the case, but that’s only a con if you want a lip on the case. Mine’s a bit scratched but only because my baby crawls around with it on the hard floor! It’s held up really nicely

Excellent minimalist case for iPhone 7, nothing to complain off so far, 1 week usage, replaced a 6 months old yellowing Speck case. One of the best price/quality/looks value out there.

This was literally like the same texture of the kind of styrofoam meat comes in from the grocery store except much thinner. Cheap, so thin you can literally see through it. Provides zero protection, slick texture so it’s tough to hold. Huge waste of money. Having no cover is better than this thing quite honestly.

This is my go to case! I hate big cases, and this one fits perfectly to just protect the phone. PS: after 8-12 months it becomes a little loose. So this is not for people taking the phone out of the case often. But I love it and I am willing to buy another one every year if needed.

I’ve had Caudabe before for my 6s but I now have the SE and the 8 cases fit perfectly! I know it won’t add extra layers of protection but I am one of those folks who can’t stand bulky cases. That’s why I opted for this with insurance! I love it!!

Thin and awesome. No complaints. This is my second purchase of it. Explanation: If you drop your phone, it could damage the bottom of the case which makes an annoying sharp plastic shard. It also loosens up a tiny little bit too over time. BUT - since it's only $9.95 and lasts until you break it yourself, I see this as a non-issue and will keep buying the same case again if needed.There's not a scratch on my phone and I've only let my phone fall from about desk height onto hardwood, so I'm happy with the level of protection.

More important than just being a slim case, it leaves the vicinity around the lightning connector wide open, allowing for use of adapters, etc, without taking the case off

Great case, fits perfectly and a good colour. I wish a totally clear version existed.
