The United States gave up being a manufacturing country years ago.  The Monocular is good quality for the price.  I have 3 of the 10x, one for each vehicle I drive. I've been thinking of another for the house as I find they are much easier to use than my $600 Bino's.  #FJB

What is the difference between nature trek and endurance monoculars by hawke? they seem to have same specs but price wise are different

I have only used the Endurance 10 x 42, so, with no experience using the Nature-Trek, I can only go by what was on the Hawke website. On the Hawke website, it says about the Endurance “… optics providing crisp, clear and bright images with enhanced light transmission.” I think that the difference is in the type and quality of the glass. it also states that “Endurance models benefit from our System H5 Optics. ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass is utilized to reduce color fringing.”  There is no mention of this in the Nature-Trek, which uses System 2 Optics. 
Otherwise, the only difference I can see in the specs is that the Endurance weighs 11.5 oz. as opposed to the Nature-Trek weighing 11.3 oz. Every other measurement appears the same.  
I purchased what I thought would give me the best viewing and was willing to pay a bit more. I really enjoy using this monocular. After several pairs of decent quality binoculars over many years, I find the ease of getting birds or objects into focus and being able to do this quickly and easily with one-hand focusing is a pleasure. Objects appear sharp and clear. After borrowing mine briefly while on hikes, two people that already had quality binoculars have purchased a pair.  The quality is very good, though I attached a zip tie for the eye piece cover so I wouldn’t lose it. If the standard of quality is the same, I imagine that the Nature-Trek might also be a pretty good choice.
