Excellent product, easy to install, easy to service, produces adequate light
Product worked every bit as promised and the pool water was glowing uniformly. I installed it in an Intex metal frame 16' x 48" above ground pool with a 1000gph filter pump. The light itsself wasn't blinding to look at, and it was easy to install. Had a hiccup on its first day of usage, a piece of debris got past the filter while performing maintenance and the lights stopped working. Took it back off and discovered it is easily serviced by removing the three screws on the back where the check valve is located. Removed the debris and reassembled the check valve and it was operating as normal again. For the price this is a great deal and a wonderful pool accessory. There has been mention of the light remaining on constantly due to no off switch, but if it is an issue simply unscrew it from the fitting when not in use. If I ever had need for a second one I would certainly buy again.

Dim
Not bright enough to be worth it. The flow was greatly restricted. The fittings worked. The pump was the correct size but the light was poor. Took it off won’t buy again unless the mechanics of it are improvedEdited. Gave it to a friend with a much stronger pump. It worked for them. So might be better advertised for a 1500gpm and above pump

It’s fine. You need one of the powerful pumps.
I love the concept of this. Using the already moving water to provide a little bit of light at night. Obviously it’s not going to be much. But a warning, it is quite dim if you have the lower power cartridge pumps from intex. I put it on my moms pool where she has an intex sand filter with a much bigger pump and it was a heck of a lot brighter.

Install it on the hose that puts water back into the pool
Once I figured out which inlet or outlet this actually was suppose to be installed on, I LOVED IT, lol. It goes on the inside wall of the pool on the hose end of the hose that is RETURNING water into the pool. People write inlet and outlet and if you don’t know which one is which, you can make an argument for either one being the other one. So, if you put it on the hose that sends the water back INTO your pool, it works like a champ and I love the light it gives off in the evenings.

Doesn't work with our intex pool
This item is not work with my intex pool. Not enough threads on the putter ring to keep it on the water return. It would pop off ever time we turned the filter on. It also restricts your water flow.

Awesome while they last, which isn’t very long.
When these are working they’re great. Illuminate the entire pool, and no additional cords or anything. Unfortunately the first one I had lasted a day or two, and the replacement I got went for a little over a month. I’m guessing water eventually gets into them and shorts the LEDs maybe? Not sure exactly, but definitely can’t recommend despite how cool they are.
