Chop-Chop Glass Cutting Board Or Counter Saver, 16 x 20 Inches

After updating my countertops, I wanted something to protect 24/7 and avoid having to pull out a cutting board every time I wanted to slice a piece of bread. I wanted something attractive or cute. After seeing these, I gave up on the 'cute' idea.I used a smaller version of this type of cutting board and I loved it. This larger size is just right for my island where I cook most. It gives my kitchen a sophisticated look. It is convenient, and doesn't need to be put away. It was delivered quickly with no shipping damage. The thickness is just right, with small rubber 'feet' on the bottom, it stays in place very well. I've not had it move at all. It is sturdy and is dishwasher safe. I even dropped it once, and it did not break. I thought for sure it was a goner.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a similar look.

I have granite counter tops and I am always looks for ways to protect the counters when in use. This is perfect in size and texture. It's not a "bubbly" texture like a smaller one I have, it's more a "brushed" surface. I think it will be easier on my knife blades, however, only time will tell. I wanted glass because it can be sanitized and this CAN be put into the dishwasher. I have to note here that the size I purchased, 16x20, doesn't fit standing up in the lower area of dishwasher because it would interrupt the spinning washer portion. However, it does lay flat on the top rack. It has very nice little silicone disc type feet that lift less than a 1/4" (eyeballing it). The little feet keep it VERY sturdy in place. The glass itself is fairly thin, but works well. Besides being able to sanitize the glass surface, you can actually see my beautiful, brand new granite counter tops. This was a very worthy investment in my mind. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem worthy.

This review is based on 6-8 weeks experience with this cutting board. So far, it has been great. Seems very sturdy; has small cushioned pads underneath that make for easy handling. It is plenty large. I wondered about using glass for a cutting board, but so far, it has held up to slicing, chopping, etc. very well, especially when compared to the heavy plastic board I was using, which is scarred all over from knife blades. The glass board also washes up in a flash, and dries quickly. If you need a cutting board, I'd suggest trying this one. I'm very pleased.

Love love love these!!! I originally bought two and I liked how they saved my porous counters so I ordered another two. I now have 4 stationed all over my black island and kitchen counters. Love them and I wish I found these sooner. I use them almost as a placemat to put things on but I also use them as cutting board here and there.I also agree with other reviewers about the wavy lines and green tint - I wish it didn’t have the wavy lines but I it wouldn’t function as a cutting board if it was solid glass. So it makes sense. And I also wish it was super clear but I still really like it better than anything else for the counters - as you can still see the beautiful counters!!

I don't know if I would gift this because it's so heavy and it could break in shipping. But I love it I keep it on my counter every day all day long I just wipe it off with Clorox bleach wipes and their snow stickiness there's no staining its pure glass and durable. I cut on it with heavy duty knives.. I use it with fruit vegetables meat poultry seafood I put hot pans on it and it is wonderful.. Will not Dull your knives but I sharpen my knives before I even use them...(UPDATE ! It shattered, the minute I put it a warm pan on it NOT even hot warm to the touch, it shattered into a million pieces it is not heat or cold tempered glass if you buy it please be aware that it could shatter at any time.. So disappointed guess I'm back to buying the cork board or wooden ones..

Seems to be a nice cutting board. However, two of the silicone feet came off right out of the packaging.

Good size and cleans easy. Pretty thin though. Would not take much to break it.

I have older cutting boards that are thicker, but this one sufficed for my needs. A warm dishwasher will remove the adhesive for the rubber bumpers.
