Van Staal VR Spin 51 - Silver

Arrived ahead of schedule in well-packaged and fit cardboard box. This is the lefty right-handed VR51 variant. Obviously well-made and expensive $500 spinner. Tight tolerances. No play anywhere. Drag appears smooth.Some sharp edges on spool and especially the rod mount. Rotor nut is pitted and scratched out of the box, which leads me to believe product QC is lax. I’ll complete review after I use reel this spring 2022.
