Great for all uses
I bought these before a trip to the coast. I used them indoors at hotel pools, outdoors at pools and in the ocean. They seal very well, I never had any leaking problems. They are very comfortable. I wore them for hours.I really like the tinting. Indoors it takes the glare off of the water without making it too dark. I had no problem seeing inside and tended to forget I had them on. Outside it was really nice to have a constant pair of "sunglasses" on when I was in a pool or in the waves at the ocean.I have noticed some scratches on the front, so I don't think the tinting will last forever. So far it has not affected the vision. I don't know if the scratches are from while wearing or in storage. A bag to store them in and less rowdy children in the pool/ocean might be the answer to that. They fogged some days and not others. I do not know why. I speculate it has to do with water and air temperature and when I put them on and how often I take them on and off. When they did fog I just used a trick I learned from SCUBA. Spit on the inside of the lenses, swish it around, then rinse lightly in the water. That always works for my swim mask and it worked fine for my goggles too. I should probably try some anti-fog spray. The only complaint is the strap. I actually like the way it works a lot. It is very easy to adjust it to the length I want while wearing them. However, it has come off twice so far. Fortunately never at an important time, but it does not give me a good feeling. It appears that the clip that holds the two ends of the straps together just slowly slides out continually. If you keep it adjusted too far out, it is going to pop off. Keeping at least a half inch out on each end keeps it form slipping off quickly. Then just remember to pull it tight every few days and it won't have time to slip off.Several other reviews mention replacing the strap with a "bungee". I haven't found a place to buy those yet, but it might be the solution.Fortunately they are dark colored and float to the top in calm water, so they won't get lost in a pool.

Beats Vanquishers
I bought these from Academy a while back, and had to buy a new pair when someone stole mine. I don't blame them, they are awesome goggles! Good enough that I bought them a second time. They are air sealed, which means they have a soft rubber edge that feels nice on your face. I've tried the Vanquisher style before and they hurt my face after only 20 laps or so in the pool. (Vanquishers, for me, are awful for 1.5 - 2 mile swims.)These fit comfortably and don't fog up usually. But if they do, it's slight. I've used them free water and lap swimming, and either way, they're great. My only complaint is that the bands can slip while putting them on, so I just hold the connector in one hand while pulling them over my head. They have NEVER slipped while swimming, and I've spent hundreds of hours in the water.I recommend this product to anyone that wants a comfortable pair of goggles and doesn't mind the occasional/light fogging. (Vanquishers also fogged on me)

Fine goggles, depending on your head size.
The goggles themselves are fine. They look awesome and do a great job underwater. However, there are two problems that each take away a star from my review.1) The blue straps are awesome and surprisingly grippy in the water but the method of using tension to keep the goggles tight on your head leaves something to be desired. When taking them off it seems every other time the straps come out of place.2) Not that my schnoz is so big, but maybe the bridge is larger than normal...The nose bridge here is a hard plastic and digs into the top of my nose. I stop noticing after I get in the water, but when I take the goggles off there is a small horizontal divot where the base of the nose bridge on the goggles meets my nose.Never had any problems with the seals, always get comments on how cool they look.

Pain in my nose
Nice padding, mirror finish is great outdoors (not so great indoors), but the fit is unusable on my face. I'm a 6'2" male with a relatively small face (I think); measured 6.3 cm between pupils (centers). The pressure on my nose is quite bothersome before I get to lap 20, and they frequently leak during the first several laps while I fuss with them several times. Unfortunately I no longer wear them. I've gone back to my old scratched-up-backup until I can find something with the right nose piece.

not a good fit
don't fit for me at least, too bad because the materials seem great and the band seems of good quality but around the eyes it just doesn't work for me.

Most pairs are pretty good.
This has been my goggle of choice the last 4 years. About 70% of the pairs I have used have been great. They seal well, fit well (for me, this is a very individual thing since they do not have an adjustable nosepiece), and don't fog up. About 1 out of 4 pairs has a defect in the air seal, a little crease, that will allow water to leak in. Extremely annoying...brand new and they leak... About 1 out of 4 pair will also hit the bridge of my nose causing a sore spot and mark if I swim for more than an hour. Like ALL goggles, they will fog, even when new after a few laps. Simply rinse them out with whatever water your are swimming in and you are good to go. This usually lasts about a month in chlorine pools...longer in open water. After that they will fog a little faster each time, especially if you do not rinse them out with clean (not salt or chlorinated) water after each use.It is annoying that some pairs will hit the bridge of my nose, I still use them, isn't that painful...but annoying. The leakers really annoy me, you tighten them up and it helps some but they still leak and get uncomfortable when really tight. Overall though, most of the time, these fit me the best and are the most comfortable goggles I can find. You are just going to get a lemmon pair now and then.
