Works fine … but it is a little bit bigger than the original… there for the cover will not fit over it…. So I soldered up the wires and zip tied it on …. It’s not like I use it every day…

Bought this cap to replace the one in my Delta 14-650 morticer. The only problem was that it's to big for the pecker head on the motor. I'm not that concerned about that though. I'm just happy to have my morticer working again. I'll come up with an enclosure for it. Wanted to leave a review for others with the same issue.

Replaced the dead capacitor on my drill press.

Product works a s expected, but took too long to get.

Here I thought I had burned out the motor or would have to find a replacement for an otherwise decent tabletop Delta drill press. It was small and efficient and sat on my table just where I needed it. One day it just stopped behaving normally and smoked a little when I was drilling. I shut it down quick and thought I was maybe pushing it too hard? Got scared when it only hummed a bit when I tried to turn it on and it would only start running when I pulled the belt a little (don't do it - I don't want to be responsible for your finger getting yanked) So I watched a few videos of people restoring drill presses, and wouldn't you know it, they usually started by opening the little cylindrical cover on the back and swapping out a capacitor. I found this one - installed it and it instantly got my drill back. I was considering only giving it four stars because I wish the dimensions (or maybe my measurements) were a little more accurate. It's just a hair too big to fit back into that cylindrical housing I mentioned... It was probably my fault for just eyeballing the one I had next to a ruler and assumed that if the values of this one and mine were the same and the measurements looked right at a quick glance, it would be the same thing - but it isn't. Not a huge deal since I just strapped it with some zip ties.

Easy install. Works great on my bench grinder.

This capacitor saved me some money. My harbor freight dual bench sander quick working. I used this to repair it. I’m back in action again.

Maybe sure you measure the size you need to make sure it fits to where you want to put it. I didn't now i'm stuck with this big one that I cant tuck back into my sander. I have to make a 3d printed cover to add extra space now.
