Q: How to set up the pedulum?cannot get it to work. Help

If the clock works pendulum should work batteries installed correctly? 2 C batteries and 1 AA battery

Q: Is it powered by battery?

Yes. It is..I purchased it for my grandson for his bedroom. He loves it!

Q: Does the snowman say coocoo?

No. It does come out and stay while the clock plays a popular Christmas Carol tune but there is not cuckoo or noise to indicate the hour. Just a different Carol for each hour.

Q: Can I make the chimes/songs louder? It's so quiet I can hardly hear it.

Not that I know if. Mine is quite loud. Perhaps change the batteries or check to see if the speaker has tape over it?
