WeatherTech Cargo Trunk Liner for MKT, Flex - Behind 2nd Row (40471) Black

Bought this for my Hubby's new 2018 Ford Flex Limited. We have no kids or pets so he leaves the 3rd row seat folded all the time. Fits perfectly as they advertise. Came in handy when one of the bottles in a case of water leaked out in January. The matt saved it from leaking and freezing in the carpeting. Also is handy for storing your snow scraper/ brooms or snow covered boots or bring home bags of salt or sand. Summer it comes in handy for transporting flats of flowers or baskets, mulch or bagged manure or soil. Rinses off with a hose. Really compliments your vehicle if you have the floor mats. A must have if you have pets or tow a trailer, camper or boat for storing your hitches or grease guns for your wheel bearings.

I understand what they were trying to do, leaving room for the backseats to move, but it was unnecessary and causes this mat to move around a lot. If they would have butted it up to the back of the seatbacks, it would stay put and this mat would be perfect. As it is, because it moves around, the edges often curl up and it doesn't lay flat. All in all, I still have it and haven't gotten a replacement. It does what I need it to do, protects my rear cargo from my dogs and other wet events.

Weather Tech mats are always top quality. I bought this set for my new 2013 Ford Flex. Fit was perfect.The only problem I have with these cargo liner mats in the Ford Flex is that they're set up to protect the cargo area when the vehicle is in the "two rows of seats" configuration. When you fold the middle row of seats down to get a bigger cargo area, the cargo mat only protects the back half of the space. I have to put something else over the back of the folded row of seats.And of course when I have all three rows of seats up so I can carry seven people, well the cargo mat stays in the garage and there's not much room for cargo behind the third row of seats in any case.These problems are a result of the Flex design--and are not any fault of the Weather Tech mats. I've had them in several previous automobiles and have always been satisfied with them.

Fits my 2014 Ford Flex flawlessly. It has cutouts for the cargo net hooks as well as the tie-downs. It's not a hard plastic like some of the of the custom floormats you see. It's got some flex but it's also not too rubbery. I'd call it just right.Occasionally it will get pushed a bit out of place by a dog or while loading/unloading something from the trunk, which may cause one side to curl a bit. When I put it back in place I need to put a heavy object on it for a little while to get rid of the curl. That's my only complaint.

It's weather tech so it fits nicely. The only thing I don't like about it is that it slides toward the liftgate and that edge is too thin so it rolls up. I have to pull it back but even then the edge doesn't lay down well. If the passenger in the second row (bucket seat) reclines their seat (although they don't recline very far) it make the condition even worse.

This mat is advertised as a custom fit, and it in fact is. Slipped into our Flex as thought it was made by Ford. We are, all in all, very happy with it. I would give it five stars if it were of a heavier more rubber like material, which other OEM mats sometimes are. But it is still good quality, shipping was fast and reliable (through a third party vendor, but one that offers Amazon prime shipping). All in all, we are very satisfied.

We recently purchased a slightly used Ford Flex and were searching for a cargo liner. I compared the Weathertech with the factory Ford liner and decided to go with the Weathertech. The fit is not that great, it moves around quite a bit. The quality of material is good and it does protest the cargo area, it just moves around more than I like.
