These are good because they are not as squishy as some. They do make your soles more comfortable and they do provide elevation, but your shoes have to be big enough on your feet to accommodate the height.

The quality seems good and they work as advertised, so 4-stars. I figured I might write a review to help other people figure out whether these will work for them. I bought them for some shoes where my ankle bones press on the top of the body of the shoe. It's painful, and I just needed to lift my heels up about 5mm to prevent it. I didn't think much about the implications of too much lift and went for the thinnest, 1.5cm version. It turns out that's nearly enough to lift your feet out of a pair of trainers and make the shoes almost impossible to wear. For me they're pretty useless. I needed something much thinner. Maybe they'll be useful in some boots someday ... until then they go in the cupboard. That's 100% buyer error, not a product problem.

Good

Good for a height boost and a little extra comfort and support - but they are really quite narrow. Gives the feeling that you're about to topple off them and roll an ankle! Good for narrow feet - probably not so good for regular to wide feet.

Since I had both my hips replaced my left leg is an inch shorter than my right which causes imbalance. I wear one of these soles inside my pilates slipper when exercising and it has made many of the balancing exercises much easier. I wear them around the house during the day and this has eased the pain in my right lower back when doing housework. Unfortunately I cannot wear these with ordinary shoes as they raise my heel out of the heel of a shoe but they have been most useful

To narrow not good

This product does exactly as required. 1.5 is just the right height to amend the difference in leg length after a hip operation.

Does the job happy with purchase

Good shoe height increaser. Bought this for a mate who was getting married to a slightly taller partner and wanted a bit more height for the wedding and for the wedding photos. Worked well and gave him a bit of extra confidence on the day.

Well made. The material used is comfortable, not too soft or too hard, and doesn't make my feet sweaty. Looks like they won't smash down like others do. I've been wearing insoles forever because the back of shoes always irritated my back heals. So I was glad to find these that provide enough "lift" to keep my heals from getting irritated/raw. I think what makes the fit better is that I've always bought shoes a size larger to accommodate over-the-counter insoles. I've also noticed some of my shoes are MORE comfortable with these; for some reason flat shoes are a "chore" for me to walk in.
