Exactly what i needed
Needed this for my kureg. I might ad an inline filter too. I would suggest to keep pressure as low as you can, that will still keep up with demand. That will keep the valve from being under too much pressure and may help it last longer. Also don't forget to add a valve close to the the float valve for easy shut off for regular machine maintenance. This is my set up, a splitter under my sink to a valve under the sink set as low as i could, to a valve right behind my machine, to the float valve. Works great.

For Vertical mounting only.
I bought these for a project where they needed to be mounted on a horizontal surface. So, they didn't work for me. But, they are of nice quality so, I'll just keep them for when another project presents itself.

Nice valve.
Great price, the valve came assembled backwards. Took a few minutes to realize that it was assemble backwards. One screw, turned the float around or upside down and it worked great after that.

Very reliable
I buy these float valves for all my tanks. Now, I never do water changes or spend time filling jugs or buckets. These valves are very reliable if you are using pure water from an RO system

Actually shuts off
Using this for a water fountain. Fountain is on a timer so it is important that water is at a constant level.

It works
Doesn't fit exactly as I'd hoped, but it does work. I had to trim the back a little to clear the rubber port on the coffee maker. It's also contacting the lid hinge a little, so adjustment was required. As others have said, it was assembled backwards, so I had to pull the pin and spin the float around 180. Works and doesn't leak. Hooray for laziness!

Would recommend.
Works just as advertised. I like the fact that it has an alignment feature preventing it from turning in the mounting hole.

It works! But...
The product itself is great and works like it should. For my situation though, being an indoor project I'm doing, I will get something a little higher quality. I'm adding it to my reservoir on my coffee maker so I don't have to fill it anymore. So if the float ever fails, my house will flood.
