Not waterproof and an very nice padding but thin, will not fit more than 17 inch mattress
I ordered this mattress pad cover and ignored the negative comments. The price was super and I did not want a mattress cover with protection, and those are hard to find.When it arrived, I did inspect it for spots or damage and there were none. I also made sure it fit my king-sized mattress then I washed and dried it per instructions.My mattress has a 3 inch memory form topper, that sits on a pillow top mattress 1.5 years old mattress So the total size of my mattress is 16.5 inches. Please note: This cover is thin, with a little cushion, which I love. It's not waterproof. The elastic on the skirt was very tight fitting on the last corner of the mattress. This cover will not fit more than 17 inches in hight in my opinion.This is exactly what I needed. The 3 inch topper I did purchase at Amazon and it is perfect, now with this cover it makes it even more comfortable.

Easy choice
This topper fits my bed well. I am able to put it on without much struggle and I usually feel like it's pretty difficult. It's waterproof and lightweight so I don't notice it under my sheets.

Not too thick, not too thin. It's exactly what is needed and I love the deep pockets so it doesn't slide of my mattress.

Definitely "Basic" but definitely does the job
I chose this thin, basic mattress cover because I don't want to make my mattress any softer. I just need a washable cover to avoid staining my mattress yellow with sweat over the years. This cover works for my purpose. At first I thought I'd received a Queen size instead of a King because the fit was that tight. But I checked the tag: 76" x 80". I tried to figure out which side was shorter because I had trouble getting the cover to stretch from edge to edge; not sure I figured that out. It was hard to get the cover on, buy I did, and it should stay nice and tight.

I bought a fancy Serta mattress pad and it had the cheap underlining that comes apart after a couple of washes. This was the good old-fashioned cotton mattress pad. I’ve always had. It will last a long time and mini washes.

For a basic cover this is fine. It’s not amazing it’s not terrible. Washes well and has held up
