Great product- Worked well

As of March 2013, it appears that Amazon no longer carries this ink cartridge. All sales are from third party sellers. I had originally ordered from a "Ships with Amazon Prime" seller and got the questionably bagged cartridge without the original box. I returned it without opening.Since I really like these cartridges and needed to order more, I searched through the sellers until I saw that OfficeMax was listed as a seller. The price was the same as they offer on their own web site, but I prefer to order through Amazon. They did not offer Prime 2-day Shipping, but they did have free shipping. I went ahead and ordered from them and got the properly packed new product just as I expected. Expiration date was June 2015.

Arrived in ONE DAY! -Though I had chosen the 3-5 day free shipping. Great supplier.Print quality is great, dries quickly (except for large areas of solid color, give those a few mintues).One annoyance: (a problem with the printer logic, not the cartridge) - my printer, an HP Officejet Pro 7500 series - stops printing when it thinks it's out of ink. I prefer to print until the print starts to get light, but my printer does not allow this. This is getting common with HP printers, including a color laserjet printer where I work.

Ink cartridges are, as almost everyone knows, hugely profitable for the printer companies who have even taken refillers and imitators to court in order to perfect theier monopoly. I used to buy third-party cartridges - and destroyed an Epson printer with a bad cartridge. The vendor, whom I purchased from before, basically disclaimed responsibility. Since then I use only ink cartridges from the printer manufacturer. True, they are obscenely expensive, but I haven't lost a printer to them either. The HP 88XL installs in my HP printer without hassle and delivers trouble free performance. The page output quantity is easily twice as much as from the standard size cartridge. So, I hate paying the price, but I am getting what I pay for in this instance: lots of pages and trouble free operation.Jerry

Ordered two HP 88xl Black inkjet cartridges in "RETAIL PACKAGING".Received two cartridges in 'bulk packaging', with a white address label stuck on each stating it was "retail packaging". Real Retail Packaging is a cardboard package, printed in four-color, as shown in the Amazon listings; not a plastic wrapped bulk item with a sticker on it stating that because the sticker says it's retail packaging, I'm suppose to believe it is retail packaging. I wonder how many people just don't know any better.Bulk 88xl black cartridges are commonly in the range of $19 each, not $29. With the amount of knock-off products flooding the market, I have no way of knowing if this is really HP product or a knock-off. What I do know is that this product was misrepresented in the Amazon listing. The listing had a graphic image of real retail packaging.What's worse is the time I have to spend dealing with this. In my opinion, I've been deceived. I'll let HP know about this and let them check into it. This transaction would have cost me far less in the end had I just purchased at the local office supply store. This order was purchased from Amazon and the shipping order indicated it was sold by someone identified as 'Andrew Boehm'. Obviously 'Andrew Boehm' doesn't know what 'RETAIL PACKAGING' is.

I received my 88XL black ink from Amazon (ships & sold directly from Amazon). The HP 88XL box is new and the expiration date is December 2011, so this is definitely fresh ink, unlike the other reviewer who says the ink they received had already expired (are you sure you ordered this from Amazon, or was it one of their "other buying choices?").Very good price, fresh inventory, free and fast shipping - usually what I can expect from Amazon.This is my first 88XL cartridge, and I've heard from multiple sources that you get significantly more use out of the 88XL vs the regular 88 black.

I received my HP 88XL cartridge 1 1/2 days after I ordered it. It came in its original retail store packaging and the expiration date is May 2015. Today is only 8/13. I know I will definitly drain this cartridge by then! My Amazon Prime price was still $10 LESS than any major retailer around here. PLUS I didn't have to drive anywhere to get it. In addition I didn't have to pay ANY tax.(CT is soon to change that) I have had NO problems with my Amazon Prime and it is definatly worth the extra $80 or $85 more per year. I have no idea why other people had so many problems. I would DEFINATLY reccomend Amazon to anyone (for any light weight items). Heavier items are another story. Lawn fertilizer(48lb)bag was $25 MORE than my local hardware store.

I almost ALWAYS read the reviews before a purchase but this time I didn't - I should have. As others have reported, the cartridge is expired and the printer advises you of this when you install the new cartridge. The product image depicts retail packaging and it was not retail packaging when it arrived. The cartridge is working fine for now.My heartburn is the product is represented to be something it is not. Had the seller identified the ink is either close to or already expired I may have purchased it anyway, but they didn't.Disappointed in myself that I didn't read the reviews. Disappointed in the seller that the product is definitely misrepresented.I did not return the cartridge as when my printer ran out, I needed the ink and it was 3:00 in the morning so I had no other options. I will definitely not be purchasing from this seller again and I would recommend the same.

Ink cartridge does what it’s supposed to do. I still find the price point for in cartridges to be very high. I definitely buy the XL as I find the regular volume cartridges run out way too quickly.

J'ai acheté une cartouche HP noir, au moment de l'installer dans mon imprimante je m’aperçois que celle ci est périmé. Livré en 2020 avec une date de 2014.
