Really impressed with the value, less impressed with a few things
I've waited several months to write my review.About me: I've built from scratch two iterations of wood fired hot tubs, as well as two propane fired hot tubs. I'd say I am extremely handy. However, after all those DIY tubs over the years, I realized the price vs. hassle was just too great when compared to an inexpensive tub like this one. I am VERY happy with this tub from that perspective; I will never do a DIY tub again. Also, I don't know anyone with an inflatable tub that is really happy with the appearance or performance long-term, so that ruled those out for me. I needed a 115V tub, because I already had a 115V GFCI outlet where I wanted to put the tub. I also live in the pacific northwest where it does not get that cold in the winter. It took forever for the tub to be shipped from the factory, about a month. The communication from Amazon during this time was non-existent. Eventually though, I got an email that it had shipped and it moved across the country in about 72 hours. The delivery person was the nicest, most helpful guy and we got it off the truck and into my backyard easily. As I think others have mentioned, the packaging is less than you'd expect. The tub ships sideways on a pallet and isn't really protected from anything. The outside of the tub had some scratches/scuffs and the whole thing was incredibly dirty. You'll need a big vehicle or a circular saw to dispose of the packaging!I was super impressed with the cover that came with the tub; it is very nicely made and looks nice. I do some upholstery work for fun, and I can't imagine the effort that went into this cover. It still looks new after several months in the sun in some very hot weather.I was also super impressed with the quality of the tub itself; super nice gelcoat finish, beautiful and smooth shine, not a single issue. It's what you'd expect of a really high end fiberglass boat rather than one of the cheapest hot-tubs available. After these initial impressions, I set the tub up, and this is where I started having some second thoughts:- The made-in-the-USA sticker on the inside of the tub is made of some terrible adhesive and paper combination that is impossible to remove. I worked at it for an hour with all kinds of solvents and tools, and I couldn't get the adhesive off the gelcoat. I put the tub into use and worked at it again when I cleaned the tub, and still, I am not able to get it all off. Yes, I tried citrus based cleaners, alcohol, paint thinner, scraping, everything. Much of the adhesive is still on there right now!- The description says there's a pressure treated base. I've taken several of the panels off (see photos) to see the inside of the tub, and I can't find anything but the lowest grades of plywood and white-wood (pine). Does it matter? I'm not sure.- The ABS bottom is incredibly thin, and on my tub there are several screws sticking through it where the person assembling it missed the wood they were trying to screw into. You can tell from the inside of the tub that they are absolutely FLYING when they assemble these things.Put into use:- The warm-up time is fine. I have no idea why anyone would think they need a 220V tub. When it is cold, it takes a day, but how often are you changing the water in your tub? On a hot day, the tub is ready to go in about 12 hours. The action of the jets is probably a little less strong than a 220v tub, but it's more than adequate.- I immediately had a noisy jet and still can't figure out why. The noise comes from one of the harder to service jets, not from the ones that pop apart. There's no leak though, so it doesn't bother me enough to call the factory.- The waterfall is useless/silly. Had they put it at the other end of the tub, it would be really cool.- I'm 6' tall and it's a bit cramped, even alone. Literally one or two inches of depth would have made an incredible difference in the utility of the tub. Two tall people is fine. There's going to be lots of touching with 3 or 4 people.- The power consumption does not appear to be that much if you are managing the Sleep/Standard modes appropriately. I've been very pleased!- The number of jets is fine, but if I could do it over again I'd get the deluxe model that has double the number of jets.- The round form factor is also fine, and is nice looking, but if you have a square space (a deck) a square tub might be better. This is another decision I regret. I get comments from EVERYONE that sees it that it looks much nicer than those cheap roto-molded tubs that look like a Rubbermaid product..- The controls are really basic but they work great. I've gotten the controls absolutely soaked on accident and the LCD display has stayed dry and it still works perfectly.- I really like how simple the tub is. I'll be able to fix the tub cheaply and keep it running forever, I am sure. A bigger tub with 220V parts and more complicated controls/features would just be more to break without adding much to the experience. While there are some negative things here, they are mostly related to my decision in choosing this exact model over a similar one from Hudson Bay/Home and Garden. Overall I am super happy with the purchase and how it has worked out. This is the kind of review and photos I wanted to see before I ordered my tub, so I hope it helps someone else out! There are not many reviews on this tub anywhere!11/20119 - Update after a few years: Still works great! Not a single problem other than the single noisy jet. Still very happy with the value of this tub. I'll be buying another from Hudson Bay for my next house.

Very nice for the money
Love this hot tub so far! I was worried because no one had a review on this particular hot tub yet. Seems to work really well but I've only had it set up for 2 days. It comes with a cover and a filter even though the items are not listed in the description. FYI the cover is dark brown since there are no photos of it. You have to drill out a small hole for the cord to fit thru the cabinet. Not a problem it only took 5 minutes. The cabinet is very nice. I liked the looks of it better than the solid resin typical for plug n play spas. This looks like a "real" hot tub!

Great deal for this spa!
Amazing customer service from Melissa Poindexter! She told me how to use the chemicals and advised on products to use. She answered multiple calls and called me back with in minutes if i left a message. RAC delivered right to the site which is a qtr mile from the road. Delivery guy placed it perfectly on the pad and my Hubby helped a little bit but it was fast and easy with no heavy lifting on our part. We made sure of no cracks and made sure pipes were connected and filled it up as directions say and plugged it in.. super easy. Melissa recommended chemicals to use which were also shipped to my house. Cozy for 4 or 5 friends/family. Perfect for 2 and few kids. looks classy! Foam insulation which is perfect for the rockies winter. came with a filter and lockable cover. So far we are happy with the spa! Using a normal 120v 20 amp plug and 10 g 125 v 20 amp extension cord :)

My dream come true
Update at 2 years. Still working perfectly after two years. MUCH QUIETER then friend's hot tubs.-----Update after 7 months. It still works perfectly. It's around 5-15 degrees Fahrenheit each morning now in winter so energy use has gone up significantly. This summer I'm going to take off the side panels and wrap it with more insulation.--------------------------------------------I've had this about six weeks now. I researched for five months before picking this one. It is a dream, everything I wanted, incredibly inexpensive I think in comparison to other options. Made in USA, thank you to all the wonderful people in Tennessee who helped make my dream happen. The interior surface is smooth and beautiful. The exterior brown looks a little cheap but I have a plan to fix that. One thing that worries me a little is that the product info here on Amazon says the warranty on parts is two years, but the paperwork that came with the tub says only one year. I took screenshots of the warranty info in case something goes out after a year but less than two and then the company tries to deny warranty replacement

Good little spa
Good little spa... came in with some slight damage to panels but I was able to hide by re-arranging them. Unit came on in economy mode so it took a while to get it to kick on as the instructions are not clear. Finally found how to do it online. Overall we are happy with this spa.

smaller than it looks but its cozy
Ive had hot tubs larger than this and ones slightly bigger.. this one is by far the easiest to setup and use. Id say its a bit cramped for more than 2 people. Perfect for one person to do minor aquacises and relax after gardening. Because it doesnt use a lot of water, it heats up faster than most hot tubs and doesnt use a lot of electricity. For the money — the design is clean, simple, and lends itself well to modern landscaped yards. Its pretty easy to move and uses less chemicals than other tubs. That being said, the filter seems to need upkeep more often which means its doing its job. Ive heard of commenters saying it breaks.. ive only had to swap out the control panel due to water level being too high. If the level is kept lower, and some extra caulking is employed, there wont be a leak from the ctrl panel down to the connectors. We have had this for a while now and use it daily! best purchase made this year and saved lots of $$ compared to going to a spa.
