This is a beautifully-manufactured leash that feels destined to last for generations. The leather is supple and the colors are vibrant. While we like the tallon-style clasp it is engineered for dogs much larger than our 11-pound Havanese. It would be perfect if the leash were offered in sizing more suited to our pet but I cannot fault Ruffwear for creating one version of this product. That said, for our small dog we particularly enjoy the fact that the leash is 4 feet long rather than 6.The price point is very high on this item but we purchased it at a significant discount. The make and design is classic Ruffwear -- outstanding quality and attention to detail. This leash has taken its place in the rotation alongside a retractable leash which serves different purposes for us -- we appreciate having options.
