BLU Life ONE X2 Mini - 5.0" Unlocked Smartphone -4G LTE - 64GB + 4GB RAM -Gold

5 months update:Unfortunately I don't feel the same after 5 months. The battery started draining really fast all of a sudden and I had to pay to ship the phone to Blu for repair, leaving me for 10+ days without a phone. The phone came back with lots of scratches on the side and a different color back. Battery worked fine for a couple weeks but now the issue is starting again. Could have been a good phone but you get what you pay for. I will not buy a Blu phone again.Love it. Great phone for the money. Really feels well made. I was skeptical because of some of the reviews here but no more. This phone is fast, has plenty of storage and a very nice screen. The phone works with Cricket wireless. I just inserted the SIM card and done.Battery life - no issue whatsoever. I can go a whole day of moderate use without charging.Lock screen adds - haven't had any. I did remove the unnecessary Z-camera and flashlight apps that were pre-installed on the phone and disabled some notifications.Netflix - Works fine. The app was not available on the play store but you can get it from the Amazon app store. The Amazon Video app also works and was pre-installed.Fingerprint scanner lagging - I find it pretty responsive and the phone opens up quickly. No issues there and that's a pretty neat function.All in all I find it to be a great replacement to my old phone at less than 1/3 of the cost.

Not perfect but at this price point there is barely any serious alternatives. This is in my opinion the best deal on a budget phone. I would love a slightly smaller phone and almost bought the Xperia x compact but at double the price with a smaller battery and half the storage capacity it can't compete with this Blu. All other brands similarly priced either lack an important LTE band or have a lackluster battery, or are phablets. I miss my old Moto X; it had the perfect size and ergonomics; this Blu is a little bigger but the battery is a lot better. The perfect phone doesn't not exist but a phone without a good battery is not very mobile, this battery is good enough though I would have paid more for and even bigger one, and more for a replazable one. I've look at every brand trying to find something better and I am waiting for the next iteration of the Blu Life X mini.P.S. To Blu: Please don't make videos like the one promoting this phone, the guy is very annoying and the over the top praise at your own products is ridiculous. This is a good phone I almost overlooked after watching that horrible video.

I am perfectly aware of the difference between buying the latest Samsung or iPhone vs. buying a much cheaper brand. However, this is not my first Blu phone, so I knew what I was getting into. The first one I bought was purchased because it specifically said it did not have built-in ads. Although I did try to find this info out when purchasing this model to no avail, I foolishly trusted that would be the case in this instance, apparently. The ads are not the worst thing in the world for what I paid, but I can guarantee I would never have purchased it if they would have told me that they were built-in. For being sold through Amazon, I'm disappointed at the deception.The phone otherwise works great. These are not as customizable as the Samsung or iPhone, as you would imagine. Battery is not stellar, but that turned up in the reviews. I also don't like that you are no longer able to take out/replace the batteries in this phone, as I could with my old one, but oh well. A major downside is that, for some reason, you are unable to download any version of Netflix on the phone. It will tell you it is just incompatible without even offering a different version that might be (or there isn't a compatible version at all... who knows?). I REALLY don't like that they do not offer what I would consider a solid protective case for many of these phones. They've been around long enough and are now being sold in Walmart everywhere... It's time to start protecting the hardware. The cheap protection it comes with doesn't offer much for anything if this dropped.Overall, it's good, but I'm disappointed with what I got.

Received fast and undamaged. I did a lot of checking for this type of cell phone. For the price that I paid it was the right phone. It works well. It is not an overly large cell. Don't like them. This is the 5 inch BLU and has everything I need for a cell. This will be my last smart phone next will be a simple flip or something. Plenty of memory, decent camera, not a bunch of baloney crapware/bloatware that I can't get rid of. So this was the phone that I went with. The others that I looked at all had alot of bad reviews mostly but as I had used there older models I was aware of their shortcommings already. Just couldn't get price and technology together for many of them Until I found this model. However, there are not a lot of covers or cases for this model. Luckily one comes with it, a clear one which helps. I bought a full flap case that can work as a stand but it is a cheap PLU type. Haven't used the screen protector yet in case I had to return it. So guess I will keep it now. So past the 30 day mark so need to put it on now. This cell phone is a keeper. Don't look for big music but it is decent, and it takes good pics. You won't win any awards but you can show off your pets and Grandkids and they all look good in them. I use the camera for tech stuff and it is detailed enough for things like that. So good phone and works for me.
