Solar powered sonic mole, groundhog, snake, gopher, vole repellent spikes
The media could not be loaded. Once turned on, the U-TECH solar sonic mole, groundhog, snake, gopher, vole repellent spikes emit audible sound pulses every 25 second. If you placed multiple spikes work together, you will hear the buzz more often than every 25 seconds since they are not synced each other. This maybe annoying for some people, especially during a quiet summer night. The spikes are powered by rechargeable batteries which are charged by solar cells. Turn on the switch and pushed into the soil of lawn or garden where have direct sunlight during the day, it start to work day and night, year around. If placed on lawn, need to make sure not to be hit by lawn mower. Not sure how effective and range covered as ad claimed. I would put all 4 spikes into my wife's garden apart less than 70 ft (as advertised) because I doubt the sound waves can't transmit that far in loose soil. Hopefully they will deterrent the pests before they invade my wife's vegetable garden. We will see how effective after next summer.

works!
We had new neighbors move in and they put U-TECH Solar Sonic Mole Repellent Groundhog Repeller Snake Repellent Gopher Deterrent Vole Chaser Spikes Traps Rodents No Killing - Protect Your Lawn and Garden of Outdoor (4PCS Round) all over the yard. Well guess what??? They work, and their moles all came scurrying into our yard. We have lived here 20 years and have never had a problem, until now. So, I bought some of my own and the moles are gone! I will take a beeping sound over moles any day, but I will say that the constant beep is a bit annoying.

Just push these right into gopher holes
the instructions say how deep to dig a hole for these things. Forget that, just push them right into the freshest gopher hole. You know, the disturbed dirt they leave all through your garden or orchard. The trick with these things is that they seem to drive the gophers away, but if you have a large garden or orchard, the gophers just move to the next area over. The range is nowhere near the 100 feet claimed in the instructions. Best guess right now is about a 30 foot radius, but that depends on your garden layout.Anyway, I installed them a month ago and there are no new gopher holes near each one. Just keep them within about 50 feet of each other (using an overlapping 30 foot radius for each).Ask me in a year how effective these are over time.

Effective at repelling moles
These are solar recharged ultrasonic mole repellents. With good light/recharging conditions these devices emit an ultrasonic frequency which drives the moles away. The length of sonic output is related to the battery charge but after a bright day, they will continue to emit intermittent sonic outputs for many hours into the evening/night. I have found them effective but the radius of effectiveness is about 20 ft. Beyond that they are pretty ineffective. They require that you place them fairly deep into the ground and in firmer soils cannot be pushed in, rather they require digging/drilling a hole. They are plastic construction and my experience with similar devices in the past is that they last about 2 years before they require replacement.

I was skeptical, but they seem to work!
I was skeptical but wanted to try these to see if they could help with our chipmunk problem in the front yard by our carport. Within a few days of installing these I did not see any chipmunks hanging around. Also, we have large stone slabs in our landscaping and typically see snakes around them, but haven’t seen a snake since installing these. I’m actually impressed!

Gets The Job Done
I had a mole problem and so I put these in the back yard. The sonic noise is not that loud and no new mole holes have popped up. The solar panels keep the repellent device charged. I dug the repellent into the ground the sounds and vibrations are conducted straight into the ground. No new mole holes have shown up.

Nice solar repellent
Nice solar repellent, as I turned it ON in my hand itself I can feel the vibrations and its making a squeaking noise which I believe should cause irritation to pest and throw them to go away. Overall a very nice useful product.
