Linzer 5425 Plastic 5-Gallon Paint Can Opener, Large, Orange

I got this bucket "lid Opener" to open the many 5 gal buckets that I use to store all of my different chicken feeds and utensils at my chicken coop. The lids on the buckets must be tight to keep out bugs, rodents and moisture, and that means that they are very hard to get off without some help. This lid opener is Very sturdy and it pops the lids right off with minimal work. Cheap price to pay for a gadget that makes life easier and will probably last a lifetime. Buy it.

I have always struggled to open the jars, but this is an exception, this one has helped me protect my hands. Besides, it is very necessary. I recommend it to help you too much. In any type of cover that I want to use its material is excellent I think it has been the only thing that has been able to help me.

Where has the item been? Amazing.

It works fine on Harbor Freight bucket lids...which lock on tight and are hard to get off. It does bend a little but otherwise, works fine.

I keep bird seed and squirrel corn in 5 gallon buckets with leak-proof lids. The lids fit TIGHT! I’m talking’ rip-your-hands-up tight. I needed tight lids to prevent night critters from getting into them. See photo of what the night critters did because I didn’t put the lid on tight. Of course, in doing so, I couldn’t get the lids off without a screwdriver, brute force and more cursing than any lady should do. I ripped my hand open when the screwdriver slipped so I had to find another solution, quick. Found this little jobber. Works like a charm! It’s heavy duty plastic that I anticipate might last many years, if not forever. Easy to use, once you figure out which way to place it. It even has a hole in it so you can attach it to the bucket!

Easily opens 5-gallon containers.

It works, but it took me awhile to figure it out. One has to keep holding up the lid while opening or it will just lock back down. Still requires some strength to open lids. Not super easy to use, but my fingernails do appreciate it; thus it does its job.

Pure and simple it does what its designed for. It actually works really well, especially since I sustained injury to my hands months ago and am left with weaker fingers as a result. Having this tool made my work so much quicker, easier and pain free. Kudos to the manufacturer!
