love new receiver set up with microphone was a breeze and full featured . Replaced older HK 240 avr and quite an upgrade and improvement to my home theater. Only negative is the Bluetooth tends to disconnect from my phone constantly

Liked the app and the ability to stream music, but twice receiver had to be reset as functions stopped working. I have only had it a month so this is concerning. I have a large tv room / kitchen space and looked to augment my SUB + Klipsch heresy speakers with a HEOS 3 speaker. This works well enough, but to run both rooms together, the system reduces base and changes time delay. The delay is good, but my woofer is not coming thru. You can not run all speakers when in TV mode.

This receiver does not appear to be as powerful as my old one was but the sound quality is probably better. I'm only giving it two stars because after a couple months it started having trouble connecting to my Bluetooth then the following month the remote stopped working, I bought a replacement and that one didn't work either leading me to believe it's a problem with the receiver. I have been using the app to use it remotely and today that stopped working too. Over all this has been a very problematic receiver.

I am pleased. It replaces an Onkyo 5.1 and I have used the same Yamaha speaker system and have not a single complaint. It integrated well with my existing home theater ( wi fi, blue ray, turntable, tv and cable) and the set up was quick and easy. I got a refurbished unit so the price was right and I cannot discern that it was not a “new” unit.

This is a great product. I am quite pleased. I do not like the delay when using the bluetooth option and I am not able to connect my computer up to it via bluetooth. That is is a minor set back and not worthy of downgrading from a 5 star rating.

This is my revised review of the AVR-S720W (Refurbished).At first I was very disappointed - couldn't get things to work right and I let my frustrations out before I called for help from their support line. Now that I have called them (twice on separate issues) I'm going to give this product 5 stars and support 10 stars!When I received the unit I could not get the wi-fi to work. Messed around with it for a day - then the next day called Denon support. I cannot say enough about the quick answer on the phone and how easy it was to get things going.Then I had an issue with the Bluetooth... called them back but they were busy and I opted to receive a call-back, which came in less than 5 minutes! Who does that anymore? DENON!Like before, this issue was resolved quickly along with a few other quirks I caused while trying out some "creative" solutions on my own...I've tried most every feature within the past 24 hours and, aside from a few hick-ups, it's been a happy experience. I've got a 5.1 Boston MCS-160 speaker system hooked up in 5.1 mode and the multitude of sound adjustments allows me to tune it right for my hearing and it's a sweet departure from the All In One systems I had before.I don't doubt some of the bad reviews are true experiences - but I hope they gave Denon Support a fair hand at helping out before giving up... so far for me they know the system and are very quick to help resolve problems.

I immediately noticed the improved sound quality from an earlier generation 5.1 Denon Receiver. This receiver has a lot of power to send to the speakers. It's so cool that we can easily send whatever we're listening to on Spotify to the receiver, from any device on our network! That's in addition to the really easy to use bluetooth-pairing and the built-in online radio features.

very nice Wi-Fi receiver. Tuning the room takes a little effort but is relatively easy.

The Denon is working great to power my home theatre as well as wired speakers throughout the house. It works with Airplay 2 so that I can multi room with other airplay speakers.
