I have had so much fun with this board since I got it about a week ago. It’s well made and I was honestly impressed with the packaging and simplicity of it. Love the details they thought through like adding a rubber cover to the ends so you don’t ding up the board or your floors. I do a lot of board sports and I thought this would help improve my balance, proprioception, and reflexes/reaction time. I feel like most balance boards you progress out of quickly and never use again.. I’m still practicing with the mini ball legitimately getting a full body workout trying to stay balanced. Great core work, great ankle stability work, overall super excited to keep practicing with this!

I bought this because I wanted to set up a DIY “SUP machine”. The how-to video I was trying to follow used an endo board but after several weeks of frustrating and unsuccessful attempts to purchase either from Amazon or direct from the endo website I started shopping alternatives.The Skill Board mini seemed to be the right size and even though it didn’t come with the same style of balance cushion the other board offers, I was able to purchase an acceptable alternative for that separately as well.When I received my Skill Board mini it came with a super handy carry-all bag, 2 different sizes of inflatable balls for varying degrees of difficulty, and a surprisingly high quality pump. The board itself is very well made, the added grip tape makes barefoot balancing that much easier, and the optional guards for the ends of the board are super secure but very easy to remove when needed.I started out using the balance cushion I had purchased separately and even then I was shocked at how little balance I had! It was almost comical. As I have practiced with the board daily I have actually moved on from the cushion and have worked my way from a pathetically under inflated small ball (the instructions advise to start with a very low psi and work you way up) to a psi of 3 and I’m amazed at how much my balance has improved.I’m still practicing for at least a few minutes almost every day and I’m excited to see just how much I can develop my balance on the Skill Board mini as well as how the improved balance and body awareness will impact the activities I participate in on the water and off.P.S. you’ll have to wait until late fall or maybe even early winter to find out whether the DIY SUP machine works out or not :)

Like another customer wrote, I also did not receive the ball pump - just the board and balls. Those are great, but I can't give a good review for not sending what was promised.

I specifically ordered this higher priced package to get the ball pump and I all I received was the board and 2 balls. Beyond annoying.

I usually don't write reviews but had to for this one - it is game changing. I've been wanting to get a balance board for a while to challenge myself and train (I'm a former athlete) but I couldn't find the right one. Most seemed pretty easy to master with diminishing returns after that. I saw an ad for the Skill Board and loved concept so finally decided to make the purchase...very happy I did. I can say with confidence that it is the best balance board on the market.All the other boards I've seen / tried only test two planes of balance whereas this challenges a full 360 degrees. Definitely a challenge! But the great thing is you can control the difficulty level based on how much you inflate the balls - this is great because I can have my friends join in even if they are beginners. I am huge believer in the benefits of training your balance and core in creative but effective ways and this does just that. I really think this should be in every training room in country.I like the smaller board and travel bag because I can take it with me when I'm on the go (I've even traveled internationally with this). It comes with three different balance options, a pump (super necessary for this) and some grip tape - pretty much anything you need. All of these things I've used a lot so it was definitely worth getting the set. Super sturdy, challenging and fun!
