Prestaflator Micro Compressor Kit - Air Compressor Tool

This is a cool little tool. It appears to be of high quality, seems duable, is very lightweight, and works flawlessly. I love that it's part of a modular system and can be used with a compressor, CO2 cartridge, or the available hand pump.A couple notes on the application I am using it for: I bought it for seating the beads on tubeless tires. It functions perfectly as designed, but in my opinion, isn't the best tool for this application. When using it with presta valves, it threads on to the valve core, which means the valve core must be in place in order to use it. In my experience using the tool to seat the bead on a stubborn road wheel, the tool didn't allow air to flow quickly enough to seat the bead right away. I'm not sure if this was due to the valve core being in place, the built-in flow regulator, or a combination of both. It worked eventually, but I had to fiddle with it. I 100% recommended this tool for general filling and for carrying with you on rides. For tubeless install, I think some of Prestacycle's other offerings might be better. I think I will eventually pick up a Prestaflator Mini.

Nice color, good production quality, but even in the most open mode it barely allows any airflow. I've tried on both a small compressor in my Sprinter and a 5 gallon tank in my garage. It's just not built for high flow. You'll never seat a tubeless tire with this, and may tire of waiting to fill an already seated tire.I really wanted it to work - it's gorgeous. Sadly, it's going into the parts bin.

Waste of money. Might as well use it as a paper weight- looks great. Doesn't work the way it supposed to work with a compressor. Bad design or machining.
