Got this to replace the metal version after a year or so... mainly due to the fact I am starting to get more involved in photography and wanted something lighter and smoother functioning than the metal one which was a bit stiff (still very good though)... does everything I need it too... incredibly smooth when moving the camera around on it and its very light but stable...

Easy to assemble, holds my 600 lens and camera. Holds my scope in position and easily pans in all planes Simple to balance. A very good gimbal.

Have been using the Neewer ball head that came with the tripod since 2021 when I bought the tripod, now that I've just bought the Sigma 150-600mm lens decided to buy this gimbol. It makes it much easier to follow your target, have also used it for landscapesWhile it is heavy it is very practical, the only other criticism, many photographers use L Brackets to mount to tripods, with mine fitted the camera can only be used in one way when using horizontally, this makes it awkward to plug in the wires as the edge of the gimbol is so close to the camera. With a squeeze it does fit.

You could pay a lot more for something that does the same job, great for what I need,As a Hobbyist.

Excellent value for money gimbal - you could pay a lot more but I'm not sure there would be any benefit. Carbon fibre, but still fairly weighty although this does aid stability. Lovely smooth action and seems very well made. Highly recommended.

This Gimbal is up with the rest of the top end Gimbal's. I fitted it to Manfrotto legs, what a match. Mounted a Canon EF 500L F4 with a Canon R6 mk2 with ef to rf adapter. No counter ballance needed the outfit was very stable. I have a variation of Neewer products and all are too a high standard at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent high end item.

I like to do some semi-professional photography as I'm growing my skills and gear collection.Previously shooting Autocross events proved to be a little tricky for panning photography with a simple ball head tripod as I could pan horizontal but anything vertical wouldn't work on that plane. So I decided it was finally time for a Gimbal head.I opted for the carbon fiber model to save weight as I tend to take more gear with me then I need always so cutting weight when possible is good. Plus I heard the aluminum model has issues where it needs regreased right away etc.So, this one was very good for the money especially as I could not afford to drop $600+ on a wimberly.Came to about $150 after coupon so overall not bad!Delivered quickly and upon using at first event, I cannot stress enough how well this works and made my day shooting so much better.Camera setup involved Canon EOS w/ Drop in filter adapter to a Sigma 150-600mm Contemp. EF lens.It's a large set up and works incredibly well and now even better with this. I adapted this Neewer Carbon fiber Gimbal head to the matching tripod, the Neewer Carbon fiber tripod with the same red black design.It fit perfectly and no tools or adapters needed to change heads so i can swap back and forth easily.Overall, highly recommended! Will update if anything goes wrong with it.

My partner and I have large cameras and lenses and we bought two of these to help alleviate the shoulder strain. When we first started researching gimbal heads, we were finding the prices were upwards of $700, something we weren't keen on jumping into without seeing if it was something that would work for us. Finally came across this product and for the price, decided to give it a go. I have nothing to compare it to, but it's been fantastic! Set up takes no time and is very easy - I'd highly recommend searching for a video on how to balance these if you haven't figured it out, makes all the difference. Super happy with the product, works as intended, quality seems good (but it's only been a few weeks), would recommend.
